Wisconsin native and former Badger OL Cole Van Lanen is officially a Green Bay Packer. After being selected in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL draft by the Packers, Van Lanen has officially signed his rookie deal.
Growing up a Packer fan as a Green Bay-area native, the green and gold means something different to the 2019 All-Big Ten first team performer.
He took the field for the first time this week in rookie minicamp, and the Packer Twitter page captured some of his initial thoughts:
