Early signing period: Cole Harrison signs with Tennessee football

The 2023 early signing period is taking place Wednesday-Friday for Tennessee’s 2024 recruiting signing class.

The 2023 early signing period is Josh Heupel’s third as Tennessee’s head coach. He was hired as the Vols’ head coach in Jan. 2021.

Tennessee’s 2023 recruiting class ranked No. 10 nationally (247Sports Composite). The Vols’ first recruiting class under Heupel in 2022 ranked No. 17 nationally (247Sports Composite).

Cole Harrison signed with the Vols on Wednesday during the early signing period.

2024 tight end prospect Cole Harrison committed to Tennessee on Tuesday.

“Committed,” Harrison announced. “Huge thanks to my family, coaches, and teammates that helped me along the way.”

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound tight end is from Junípero Serra High School in San Mateo, California.

The early signing period for the 2024 recruiting class will take place Wednesday-Friday.

The Vols have 21 commitments in the 2024 class:

Tennessee football offers 2024 tight end from California.

Tennessee football offered a scholarship to 2024 tight prospect Cole Harrison on Friday.

“After a great conversation with Alec Abeln, I’m grateful to announce that I have received an offer to the University of Tennessee,” Harrison announced.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Harrison is from Junípero Serra High School in Gardena, California.

The early signing period for the 2024 recruiting class will take place Dec. 20-22.
