Against the spread
Back CLIPPERS +9.5 (-110), as they’re a good bet to keep this game withing single digits.
L.A. has won and covered the past 5 games, and it looked super powerful against the 76ers, albeit a team which is very banged up.
Still, the Celtics -9.5 (-110) have been struggling against the number, and while Boston should get the win, it cannot be trusted to win this game by double digits.
Over/Under
UNDER 218.5 (-110) might be the best play on the board.
Both of these teams played Sunday, and they could be sucking wind. While the Clippers had the good fortune of playing an overwhelmed opponent, getting to rest key personnel in preparation of the second end of the back-to-back, it’s still a tough turnaround with travel.
While the Celtics had a much tougher time with the Timberwolves, and it didn’t have the luxury of resting players for long periods Sunday, the Boston players were able to sleep in their own beds at home, so that helps.
