The Cleveland Cavaliers battle the Orlando Magic in Game 6 of a best-of-7 Eastern Conference 1st-round series on Friday. Tip from Kia Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (ESPN). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Orioles vs. Reds odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Series: Cavaliers lead 3-2; teams split 4 games in regular season

Cleveland took down Orlando 104-103 on Tuesday while failing to cover as a 4.5-point home favorite. SG Donovan Mitchell scored a team-high 28 points while F Evan Mobley had a double-double (14 points, 13 rebounds). The Cavaliers shot 43.2% from the field as they regained control of the series.

Orlando covered as a 4.5-road underdog, but had a 2-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday. F Paolo Banchero scored a game-high 39 points while just 3 Magic players scored in double figures. The team shot 46.2% from the field in the loss.

Cavaliers at Magic picks and predictions

Prediction

Magic 106, Cavaliers 104

Moneyline

BET MAGIC (-165).

The Magic played their best basketball at home during the regular season with a 31-12 record. They have won each of their last 6 games at home, including both home games in this series.

The Cavaliers were just 22-21 on the road this season and have lost 5 games in a row on the road.

Against the spread

PASS.

There is better opportunity on the moneyline in a series that has proved to be tight. If anything, the Cavs +3.5 (-105) is worth a look.

Over/Under

BET OVER 200.5 (-110).

These teams have combined for more than 200 points in each of the last 3 games. The Cavs have scored 97 or more in 7 of their last 10 while allowing 103 or more in 7 of their last 10. The Magic have scored 103 or more in 7 of their last 10.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Orlando Magic Game 4 odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Cleveland Cavaliers at Orlando Magic odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic meet in Game 4 of a best-of-7 Eastern Conference 1st-round series Saturday. Tip-off at Kia Center is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (TNT) as the Magic look to even the series by winning back-to-back home games. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Cavaliers vs. Magic odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Regular-season series: Split 2-2

The Cavaliers picked up a pair of home victories — and covers — to open this 1st-round series, but they’ll have to figure out how to recover after getting waylaid 121-83 Thursday in Game 3 in Orlando. The 38-point loss was the Cavaliers’ worst playoff defeat in franchise history. The Magic were 3-point favorites and the Over (202) cashed.

Cleveland shot just 39.0% (32-of-82) from the field, while hitting just 23.5% (8-of-34) from behind the 3-point line in Thursday’s loss. The Cavs also turned it over 14 times, to just 8 times for the Magic. Orlando shot 51.1% (47-of-92) from the field, too, while knocking down 35.1% (13-of-37) from downtown.

Despite the rout, the Magic are just 2-5 straight up (SU) and against the spread (ATS) in their past 7 games. In their past 15, they’re 6-9 SU and 5-10 ATS.

Cavaliers at Magic picks and predictions

Prediction

Magic 107, Cavaliers 99

Moneyline

The Magic (-140) are slight favorites. If you don’t want to mess around with laying 2.5 points, then by all means back Orlando on the moneyline. However, it’s a better value laying the bucket and change.

PASS.

Against the spread

ORLANDO -2.5 (-105) is favored just a little less than it was in Game 3 when it was a 3-point favorite which covered easily in the 38-point rout.

Cleveland has won just once in its past 9 road games dating back to mid-March. The Cavs are 2-7 ATS in that 9-game span away from home.

BACK ORLANDO -2.5 (-105) to get the job done, and pull into a 2-2 series tie, heading for a pivotal Game 5 back in Cleveland Tuesday.

Over/Under

OVER 201.5 (-110) is a solid play. While the first 2 games of this series cashed Under tickets, Game 3 barely clipped the Over.

The total has ended up going high in 10 of the past 15 games for the Cavaliers, while the Over has a slight 6-4 edge for the boys from O-Town.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Orlando Magic Game 3 odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Cleveland Cavaliers at Orlando Magic odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic meet in Game 3 of a best-of-7 Eastern Conference 1st-round series on Thursday. Tip-off at Kia Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Cavaliers vs. Magic odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Cavaliers lead 2-0

The Cavaliers won and covered a pair of low-scoring games at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland to open the series, covering both games as a 5.5-point favorite as the Under cashed in each outing.

Cleveland posted a 96-86 win in Game 2, covering from early in the 2nd quarter through the end of the game. The Cavaliers led 58-44 at halftime, but we ended up with just 80 combined points in the 2nd half for the easy Under (205) result.

The Cavs had 6 different players strike for at least one 3-pointer, led by Darius Garland with 4 successful makes on 7 tries. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 23 points, while Jarrett Allen went for 16 points and amazing 20 rebounds with 3 blocked shots and 2 steals.

Cleveland has won 8 of the past 10 meetings since Oct. 26, 2022, and the Cavaliers are an impressive 7-2-1 against the spread (ATS) in that span. The Under has cashed in both of the playoff games, while the total has gone low at a 6-4 pace in that 10-game span.

Cavaliers at Magic picks and predictions

Prediction

Magic 104, Cavaliers 98

Moneyline

The Magic (-130) are looking to make a series of it, as things shift to Central Florida. Orlando needs the victory in Game 3, or it will be out of the series. It doesn’t make sense to back Orlando on the moneyline, however, as it’s better to back the Magic laying the little bit of points instead.

PASS.

Against the spread

The MAGIC -1.5 (-115) are worth playing, as all they need to do is win by a bucket to get the job done. Orlando won its final 4 games at home, while covering in 3 of those outings.

The teams split each of the games at Kia Center this season, with the Magic posting a 104-94 victory last Dec. 11 as a 2.5-point favorite. Expect Paolo Banchero and the Magic to get the job done.

Over/Under

OVER 198.5 (-110) is worth playing lightly despite the fact we have seen a pair of Under results in this season, with the highest point total coming from the Cavaliers in Game 1 with just 97 points.

Cleveland cashed the Over at a 9-3 pace in the final 12 regular-season games, including 5-2 in the final 7 road contests.

Orlando saw the total go high in 5 of the final 7 games of the regular season, although the Under was a perfect 7-for-7 in the final 7 home outings.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Orlando Magic odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Cleveland Cavaliers at Orlando Magic odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (50-30) visit the Orlando Magic (34-45) on Thursday. Tip from Amway Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Cavaliers vs. Magic odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Cleveland beat Orlando 117-113 to push as a 4-point road favorite on Tuesday. It has now won back-to-back games and is 7-3 in its last 10. The Cavaliers are 5-4-1 against the spread (ATS) in that span to improve to 41-35-4 ATS this season.

The loss snapped a 2-game win streak for the Magic. They are 6-4 straight up and 9-0-1 ATS in their last 10 games, improving to 45-32-2 this season.

Cleveland is 3-0 against Orlando this season. The Cavs beat the Magic 103-92 as 8.5-point home favorites on Oct. 26 and and 107-96 as 10.5-point home favorites on Dec. 2.

Cavaliers at Magic picks and predictions

Prediction

Magic 108, Cavaliers 97

Moneyline

PASS.

While the odds on the Magic (-350) against a top-ranked Cavs team may turn heads at first glance, they’re actually justified (but not playable) because the majority of the Cavs starters are sitting this one out. However, you shouldn’t risk 3 1/2 times your potential return here.

Against the spread

LEAN MAGIC -8.5 (-110).

The Magic have been on an ATS tear recently going 9-0-1 ATS in their last 10 games and 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12. They are 10-0-1 ATS in their last 11 games when their opponent scores 100 or more points in their previous game, 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 home games against a team with a losing road record. They are also 22-17-1 ATS at home this season.

Orlando is rightfully considered a heavy favorite in this matchup with so many of Cleveland’s starters sidelined.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 219.5 (-110).

Cleveland’s offense ranks just 24th in the NBA in points per game (112.4) while Orlando’s ranks just 26th (112).

The Under is 3-2 in the Cavs’ last 5 games and 4-2 in the Magic’s last 6. The Under is 13-4 in the last 17 meetings between these teams and 6-2 in their last 8 meetings in Orlando.

With some players getting more run than usual you can expect sloppy play which will inhibit the number of points scored and aid the Under.

Cavaliers at Magic: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Magic 105, Cavaliers 92

Money line (ML)

The Magic (-250) will cost you nearly two and a half times your potential return, and that’s not the way to go. Yes, Orlando won the front end of the doubleheader by a 103-83 count on Monday. But teams have been having a hard time duplicating the same results in the second go-around. AVOID, and look to the spread instead.

Against the spread (ATS)

The MAGIC -6.5 (+100) routed the Cavaliers +6.5 (-120) in the first game of the double-dip. However, Orlando has some backcourt injury issues with MCW, hurting his foot in the first half on Monday’s game, and Fournier a big question mark to return after missing the past two due to back spasms.

If Fournier is unable to gut it out, Terrence Ross is forced into the starting five and confidence is not as high that Orlando will be able to pick up another cover. Watch closely, and if Fournier is sidelined, scale back your wager.

Over/Under (O/U)

The play is UNDER 213.5 (-105), which has cashed in each of the past three for Orlando, including Monday’s game with 186 points against a total of 214. The Under has also connected in three consecutive games for the Magic. The Under is also 8-1 in the past nine in this series, including each of the past five meetings in O-Town.

Cavaliers at Magic: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Magic 107, Cavaliers 99

Money line (ML)

The MAGIC (-200) are actually right at my personal limit for money line bets. With Fournier knicked up a bit, and the Magic coming in on a two-game losing skid at home, I am more comfortable playing Orlando on the money line rather than laying the points here.

The Cavaliers picked up a 96-91 win at the Atlanta Hawks Saturday, but they’re just 1-2 straight up and ATS across their past three after starting out 3-0 SU/ATS. Injuries make Cleveland a very tough team to back right now.

Against the spread (ATS)

The MAGIC -5.5 (+100) are the lean here, although I prefer them on the money line. Orlando has struggled to put points on the board in its past two games, averaging 95.5 points per game in a pair of home losses, which is well below its overall season average of 112.0 PPG.

The Magic are 7-3 ATS in the past 10 meetings against the Cavaliers, but the Cavs are 10-4 ATS in their past 14 trips to O-Town.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 217.5 (-110) is the best course of action here, as the Magic have been under the century mark in each of their past two games, while the Cavs have scored 99 or fewer points in three straight games. They are missing the veteran presence of Love in the middle.

The Under has cashed in seven of the past eight meetings in this series, and four straight in Orlando, too.
