The Cleveland Cavaliers (11-0) visit the Chicago Bulls (4-6) Monday. Tip-off from the United Center is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Cavaliers vs. Bulls odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; Cavaliers won 3-1 last season.

Cleveland remained undefeated after taking down the Brooklyn Nets 105-100 Saturday as a 12.5-point home favorite. F Evan Mobley scored a game-high 23 points and added 16 rebounds for a double-double while the Cavaliers shot 54.1% from the field.

Chicago snapped a 4-game losing streak with a 125-113 win at the Atlanta Hawks Saturday as a 2.5-point underdog. G Ayo Dosunmu had a team-high 19 points while G Zach LaVine, C Nikola Vucevic and G Coby White each scored 18. The Bulls shot 50% from the field in the win.

PASS.

There is no value on the Cavaliers (-350) to remain undefeated Monday.

Against the spread

BET CAVALIERS -7.5 (-115).

Almost as impressive as their undefeated record, the Cavaliers are 9-2 ATS this season. They have covered in all 5 of their road games and won 2 of their last 3 overall by 9 or more points.

Chicago has failed to cover the spread in 4 of its last 5 games, including 2 straight at home and 3 of its last 4 as an underdog.

Over/Under

BET OVER 237.5 (-110).

Cleveland has hit the Over in 3 of its last 4 games and has an Over record of 7-4 this season. It has scored 131 or more points in 2 of its last 3 games while allowing 113 or more in 4 of its last 5.

Chicago has hit the Over in 3 of its last 5 games and has an Over record of 6-4. It has scored 119 or more points in 3 of its last 4 games while allowing 135 in 2 of its last 4.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (22-14) visit the Chicago Bulls (16-19) Saturday. Tip-off from United Center is set for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Cavaliers vs. Bulls odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Cavaliers are on an uncharacteristic 3-game losing skid that continued Thursday with a 135-126 loss at the Indiana Pacers. All 3 losses have come against Eastern Conference teams and 2 of the 3 came at home. The loss to the Pacers came largely due to an unusual lack of defense that saw Indiana shoot 56.5% from the field (48 of 85) and 61.3% from 3-point range (19 of 31).

The Bulls defeated the Detroit Pistons 132-118 Friday. G Zach Lavine had a season-high 43 points on an astounding 75% shooting (15 of 20). This game was otherwise very even outside of Lavine’s scoring.

Cavaliers at Bulls picks and predictions

Prediction

Bulls 113, Cavaliers 109

Moneyline

LEAN BULLS (+125).

If the Cavaliers were fully healthy I would agree with this line 100%, but they are coming into this game banged up and with key players either out or questionable. Cleveland is a team that is already lacking in depth and coupled with their current losing skid, this game could easily go either way but I lean towards the Bulls who trail 1-0 in the season series but are the hotter team.

Against the spread

The BULLS +2.5 (-110) is my best bet for this game.

With an injured Cavaliers team, the Bulls will be able to stay in this game and make it a contest whether they win or lose. It should be easy for the Bulls to contend with a team that is believed to be much better than them at full strength but is dealing with such a range of injuries. This will hinge on the stars for the Bulls, but they are used to that pressure and will get it done.

Over/Under

LEAN UNDER 224.5 (-112).

Both teams are mediocre offensively even when at their best and the Cavaliers have the league’s top-ranked defense (106.3 points allowed per game). I might ignore averages when dealing with teams as talented as the Bulls and Cavs simply because the scoring potential is always there, but with the Cavs’ injuries, I am more confident in the Under. However, there is plenty of talent in the backcourts that could result in outrageous numbers on any given night, which is why this is a lean, but I don’t see that happening Saturday.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (0-1) visit the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bulls (1-1) Saturday. Tipoff from United Center is set for 8 p.m. ET.  Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Cavaliers vs. Bulls odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Cavaliers look to avoid an 0-2 start. With some new additions in the offseason, such as star G Donovan Mitchell, this team is looking to do more than just make the playoffs. The Cavs have their eyes set on winning the Eastern Conference. They’ll look to validate themselves as contenders with this matchup vs. the Bulls, the 5th seed in the East last season. After losing at the Toronto Raptors 108-105 as 2.5-point underdogs in their season opener in a back-and-forth game Wednesday, the Cavs look to get their 1st win of this new campaign.

The Bulls look to make it back to the playoffs but want to avoid a 1st-round exit. They lost at the Washington Wizards 102-100 as 2-point dogs Friday. With PG Lonzo Ball having yet another surgery on that troublesome left knee, they are missing what he brings to this team on both ends of the floor. They’ll look to SG Zach LaVine and F/G DeMar DeRozan to carry this team as far as it can go. Through 2 games, DeRozan leads the Bulls with 34.5 points per game on 55.6% shooting, while also dishing out a team-best 7.5 assists per game.

Cavaliers at Bulls picks and predictions

Prediction

Cavaliers 108, Bulls 104

Moneyline

If you want to avoid laying the 2.5 points with the spread, lean Cavaliers (-130). They should win this game as I don’t see them starting their season 0-2.

Facing Chicago won’t be easy though. These matchups between playoff contenders are always tough, , especially with this being so early in the season. The Cavaliers’ interior presence on both ends of the floor with C Jarrett Allen and F/C Evan Mobley will be too much for the top-heavy Bulls to defeat.

Against the spread

BET CAVALIERS -2.5 (-105).

While this won’t be an easy victory for the Cavs, they’ll likely cover the spread if they do win this game. If it’s within 2.5 points, I can see the Cavaliers losing simply due to the clutch gene in both DeRozan and LaVine, who is expected to make his season debut after missing the first 2 games to what was called “left knee injury management”.

The Cavaliers’ perimeter shooting is a big key for them in this game. If they can get shots to fall and can play their brand of basketball, they should easily cover the spread against a Bulls team that is without their star point guard.

Over/Under

LEAN UNDER 220.5 (-108).

Expect this game to be a close one that easily could go either way on the O/U. Because of the Cavs’ interior defense and the Bulls’ perimeter defense, the Under will be a safer bet than the Over for this one.

I do, however, expect the stars to shine bright in this one. Expect DeRozan, LaVine, Mitchell, Mobley and Allen all to have big impacts for their teams. And don’t be surprised if complimentary pieces such as C Nikola Vucevic and G Coby White have big games for the Bulls.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (38-28) wrap up a three-game road trip Saturday when they play the Chicago Bulls (40-26). Tip-off is 8 p.m. ET at United Center. Below, we look at the Cavaliers vs. Bulls odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Cavs lost 117-105 at the Miami Heat Friday. They had no answer for C Bam Adebayo, who had 30 points and 17 rebounds. It snapped a modest two-game win streak, although they had lost six of seven games before those two wins. They are currently sixth in the Eastern Conference.

The Bulls snapped a five-game losing skid with a 114-108 road win over the Detroit Pistons Wednesday. The Bulls are now in fourth place in the conference but only four games back of the top-seeded Miami Heat.

Cavaliers at Bulls odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Bulls 114, Cavaliers 108

Money line

The Bulls’ 24 home wins are tied for the most in the Eastern Conference, although they have lost their last two games at United Center. The two teams have split the two games they have played this season, both winning on their home courts.

The Cavaliers, dealing with the recent injury to Allen, have only won three games in their last 10.

Take the BULLS (-155).

Against the spread

The Cavaliers have covered the spread in three of their last four contests but are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games.

The Bulls are also 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games but have gone six straight games without covering the spread. However, they are 22-12 ATS at United Center this season.

Take the BULLS -3.5 (-108).

Over/Under

Three of the Cavs’ last four games and four of the last six have had totals of more than 220 points. The two teams’ first matchup in Chicago had a total of 221.

The Bulls’ last four games and five of the last six have gone over the projected total for tonight’s game.

Take OVER 220.5 (-112).

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (27-18) are in the Windy City Wednesday to play the Chicago Bulls (27-15) at United Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Cavaliers vs. Bulls odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Cleveland is on a roll, winning five straight and seven of its last nine games (4-3-2 ATS). The Cavs are 11th in both adjusted net rating at plus-2.4 and ATS margin at plus-2.0 in January, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

Chicago has significantly regressed in January due to injuries. The Bulls are 4-5 straight-up (SU), 3-6 ATS and 27th in both adjusted net rating at minus-8.8 and ATS margin at minus-6.2 through the last two and a half weeks, per CTG.

The Cavs punched the Bulls in the mouth 115-92 at home as 3.5-point favorites the first time they met Dec. 8. Cleveland won all four quarters, outrebounded and outshot the Chicago from everywhere on the floor.

Cavaliers at Bulls odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Cavaliers 113, Bulls 104

Money line

BET 1 unit on the CAVALIERS (-140).

The Bulls were missing wing DeMar DeRozan when the Cavs spanked them last month, but they had Ball, Green and LaVine, who will all miss this meeting.

More importantly, their backups — PG Coby White, SG Ayo Dosunmu and SF Alfonzo McKinnie — all grade in the 18th percentile or lower in their respective positions at adjusted on/off net rating, per CTG.

I think the length of Cleveland’s frontcourt can make life difficult for DeRozan who likes to operate in the mid-range.

However, the reason why the Bulls have sucked this month is that they rank 29th in adjusted defensive rating. That’s not good when playing a Cleveland team that is 11-3 SU versus teams in the bottom 10 of adjusted defensive rating with the best ATS margin at plus-5.3, per CTG.

This is also a better spot for the Cavs who have the second-best ATS record in away games and the best ATS margin while the Bulls are 0-5 ATS in their last five versus teams above-.500 and 3-5 ATS on the road versus above-.500. These ATS trends are applicable since this game is priced as a coin-flip.

BET the CAVALIERS (-140).

Against the spread

PASS since Cleveland’s money line is only 25 cents on the dollar pricier than the Cavaliers -2.5 (-115). That said, the Cavs are the right side.

Over/Under

PASS since there isn’t a big enough discrepancy between my numbers and the projected score, so there’s no value in me betting the total.

For what it’s worth, Cleveland is 17-28 O/U, Chicago is 21-20-1 O/U and the Under has cashed in four of the last five Cavaliers-Bulls meetings.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (20-35) visit the Chicago Bulls (22-33) at United Center at 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Cavaliers-Bulls odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Cavaliers have been rather erratic lately, finding tremendous success on the road, while struggling on their home floor. Since April 5, Cleveland is 3-0 SU/ATS in away games, while going 0-3 SU/1-2 ATS in three contests at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

The Bulls are coming off a 126-115 licking from the Memphis Grizzlies, and Chicago is on a five-game skid while also going 0-5 ATS. The last time these teams faced each other in Chi-Town, the Cavs came away with a 103-94 win as 7.5-point underdogs.

Cavaliers at Bulls: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Cavaliers 111, Bulls 107

Money line (ML)

The CAVALIERS (+105) are worth playing straight up, as they have been money on the road with three straight away victories in San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Charlotte since April 5.

The Bulls (-125) were also topped by the Cavs 103-94 at United Center on March 24, and Cleveland is a lot healthier this time around.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

Playing the Cavaliers +1.5 (-110) catching the point-and-a-half doesn’t make much sense vs. playing the money line. You win more on the ML, and unless you absolutely feel Chicago will win by just one point, there is no reason to play the spread.

PASS.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 212.5 (-110) is the best play on the board in this matchup. The Over has cashed in five of the past seven games for the Cavs and four of the past five for the Bulls.

Cavaliers at Bulls: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bulls 111, Cavaliers 102

Money line (ML)

The Bulls (-250) hook up with the Cavaliers (+195) for the first time this season. Neither side has been particularly attractive lately. While Chicago should be able to win at home, spending two-and-a-half times your potential return on an erratic sub-.500 team is risky behavior. AVOID.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

The BULLS -6 (-110) are a better value to cover by three buckets against the Jekyll and Hyde Cavaliers +6 (-110).

Cleveland is a hard team to get a read on. They upended Boston and Toronto last week at home, then had their doors blown off by visiting Sacramento, 119-105, in their most recent outing. The Cavs went 0-3 SU/ATS in their most recent road trip, and they’re just 12-30 ATS in the previous 42 in this series.

Over/Under (O/U)

The lean is to the UNDER 218.5 (-110) in this battle of the Great Lakes. The Under has hit in five of the previous seven games in Chi-Town, and the Under has hit in six of the past seven overall for the Bulls. The Under is also 5-0 in the previous five at home for Chicago. Cleveland also ranks dead-last in the NBA with 104.1 PPG.
