Georgia football is recruiting hard ahead of the early signing period, which begins Wednesday.
The Bulldogs received some good news on Tuesday, when four-star receiver C.J. Smith, a former Florida commit, committed to UGA.
Smith is a legitimate track star who won both the 100m (10.28) and 200m as a junior at Mt. Dora High School in Orlando, Fla.
Smith plans to follow along the same path as current Bulldog receiver Arian Smith, who also runs track for Georgia.
Per usual, UGA coach Kirby Smart welcomed in the new commitment on Twitter:

Smith is rated as the No. 34 receiver, the No. 26 player in the state of Florida and the No. 224 player overall in the 2022 recruiting class.

Smith’s addition gives the Bulldogs 25 commits in the 2022 recruiting class, which is ranked at No. 2 in the country behind Alabama (247Sports).
