Watch: Peach Bowl releases hype video ahead of No. 9 Georgia vs. No. 8 Cincinnati

We’re just a day away from Georgia football’s final game of 2020.

The Bulldogs (7-2) take on Cincinnati (9-0) in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta at noon on New Year’s day.

To set the stage, the Peach Bowl released this hype video via Twitter and Georgia football’s Twitter account responded.

The AAC champion Bearcats boast a top-10 defense and average 39 points per game, but Georgia has the No. 1 rush defense in the nation and behind the arm of JT Daniels, the Bulldogs have been hot on offense, scoring 38 points per game since the USC transfer took over under center.

Something has to give.

The Bulldogs, including a hot Georgia offense and the No. 1 rush defense, take the field for the first time since a 49-14 win at Missouri on Dec. 12.

The last game of the season versus Vanderbilt that was scheduled for the following week was cancelled due to positive COVID-19 testing within the Commodores program.

On the other side, AAC champion Cincinnati rolls into Atlanta with a top-10 defense, undefeated and ready to prove why it deserved playoff consideration.

“The Bulldogs were a top-5 team for most of the season, but they enter the Peach Bowl at No. 9 in the College Football Playoff rankings. This year, Georgia has beaten two teams that were ranked at the time of the game, Tennessee and Auburn.
