Christian Forbes, who held an offer from Rutgers football coming out of high school, has entered the transfer portal. He enters the portal now with some significant experience in the ACC under his belt.
A former three-star recruit at Lawrenceville Prep (Plainsboro, New Jersey), Forbes joined Wake Forest as part of their 2020 recruiting class. He held Power Five offers from Rutgers and Wake Forest in addition to offers from Temple, Fordham, Kent State and Monmouth.
Last season, Forbes made five appearances for Wake Forest. This season, that number is up to 11 games played.
He is currently at 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds.
Forbes enters a transfer portal that is already busy and buzzing with prospects. The New Jersey prospect would seem to be in demand, given that he already has some solid experience for a good Wake Forest team.
Rutgers has very quietly sent out three offers in the portal, including one to an offensive tackle, Jonathan Mendoza from Yale.
