Chris Li signed an institutional aid agreement with the University of Tennessee.
He will be eligible to join the Vols’ men’s tennis team for the 2023 fall season.
Li is a native of Lima, Peru and transferred from North Carolina.
“We are looking forward to getting Chris here this summer,” Tennessee associate head coach James McKie said in a press release. “We saw him a bunch last fall and are excited about his potential. We are eager to watch him develop on a talented roster amongst a great group of guys.”
Li was 15-12 in singles matches during two seasons with the Tar Heels, playing primarily at No. 4, 5 and 6 in the singles lineup.
