Raiders sign 4, send Maxx Crosby, Sincere McCormick to injured reserve

The Raiders make it official, sending Maxx Crosby and Sincere McCormick to injured reserve. They added four other players.

Wednesday the Raiders officially ended the seasons of Maxx Crosby and Sincere McCormick, sending both to injured reserve. They made four other moves, including filling their spots on the roster.

To replace McCormick’s spot on the roster, the team signed RB Christ Collier off the practice squad.

Collier is an undrafted rookie, originally signing with the Ravens. He joined the Raiders’ practice squad a month ago.

To add depth at defensive end with Crosby lost for the season, the team signed Andre Carter II off the Vikings practice squad.

Carter II was signed off the Vikings’ practice squad. The 6-6, 256-pound defensive end originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Vikings in 2023 and saw action in 12 games as a rookie. He played collegiately at Army where he finished second in the FBS with 15.5 sacks in 2021 and earned third team All-American honors.

Additionally, the Raiders added two to the practice squad, signing DE Ovie Oghoufo and RB Isaiah Spiller.

Oghoufo is and undrafted rookie, originally signing with the New York Giants. The 6-4, 250-pound defensive end played his final collegiate season at LSU in 2023 after two years at Texas (2021-22) and three at Notre Dame (2018-20). He played in 58 games with 31 starts and recorded 152 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks over his career.

Spiller was a fourth round pick the the Chargers in the 2022 draft. He has played in 15 career games and rushed 55 times for 137 yards, while adding nine receptions for 47 yards.

Chris Collier has re-emerged. The former Ravens running back was signed to the Las Vegas Raiders’ active roster ahead of Week 16 after spending weeks on the practice squad.

After three elevations, Collier was signed off the practice squad and appeared in five games for Baltimore overall, returning ten kickoffs for 221 yards.

Collier joined the Raiders’ practice squad in Week 12 after signing as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens. He was named an AFCA Division First Team All-American in his final collegiate season at Lock Haven in 2023, where he recorded 1,393 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in addition to 22 receptions for 238 yards and three touchdowns.

The Ravens are making roster moves. After trading for cornerback Tre’Davius White, the team waived rookie running back Chris Collier.

Collier, an undrafted free agent out of Lock Haven, initially signed up for the practice after 53-man roster cuts.

After three elevations, Collier was signed off the practice squad and appeared in five games overall, returning ten kickoffs for 221 yards.

The Ravens now have Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, and Rasheen Ali on the depth chart at running back, and Keaton Mitchell could be activated on Wednesday.

Ravens sign RB Chris Collier to the active roster from the practice squad and elevate Kristian Welch from the practice squad

The Ravens announced two roster moves on Monday, ahead of the Monday night matchup against the Buccaneers.  Baltimore signed undrafted free agent running back Chris Collier to the active roster after using his three practice squad elevations.

Rookie running back Rasheen Ali (ankle) has been ruled out against the Buccaneers after making his NFL debut in Week 6 with nine special teams snaps in the win over the Washington Commanders.

The team also elevated linebacker Kristian Welch from the practice squad to the active roster for tonight’s game in Tampa.

The Baltimore Ravens Ravens activate DE Yannick Ngakoue and RB Chris Collier for matchup vs. Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5

Looking to get even more pressure off the edge on Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens activated defensive end Yannick Ngakoue for Week 5 in Cincinnati.

Left guard Andrew Vorhees is questionable to play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. After being limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, he was a full participant on Friday.

Sunday marks the third straight week that Collier has been called up from the practice squad, while Ngakoue will make his 2024 debut after signing with Baltimore before Week 4.
