Can Quinn Ewers or Hudson Card pull away in Texas’ spring game?

The fan base appears to be split on this.

Horn247’s Taylor Estes and Chip Brown have a long-running podcast known as The Flagship.

At the end of the show, they have a segment known as “Love it or Leave It” in which if you answer in the affirmative to the question presented you love it, but if you disagree you leave it.

Estes presented the question of whether or not Hudson Card or Quinn Ewers would be a clear frontrunner after the end of the spring game. Both Brown and Estes left it, with Brown saying that the battle could last through the first week of September. The Texas fan base appears to be split on this notion.

However, I believe there is already a clear frontrunner, and that’s Ewers.

Why? Card has been around for three years, has two years in the system, and yet Ewers is already neck and neck with him. In order for Card to win the job, he needed to be head and shoulders above Ewers heading into the summer and fall. And he has not done that.

While Estes and Brown will publicly disagree, at the present time it appears to many that this is Ewers’ job to lose.
