Chiefs vs. Raiders head-to-head

Including 3 postseason games, the Chiefs and the Raiders have met 130 times in a series that launched in 1960. Kansas City leads 73-55-2.

The Chiefs had a 6-game series win streak going until the Raiders won the 2nd of 2 meetings last season (Dec. 25).

Raiders’ home games have netted another 6-game K.C. streak (2018-23). The Raiders have not defeated the Chiefs in a home game since Oct. 19, 2017, when the franchise was located in Oakland.

The betting record of recent vintage has been more level. The last 4 meetings and the last 8 make for ATS splits. Last season’s games resulted in an ATS split, 1 Over and 1 Under. The O/U is 2-2 across the last 4 games.

Since 2020, the Raiders are 1-3 ATS at home. The Over cashed in 3 of those games (3-1).

First look: Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders odds and lines

Looking at Saturday’s Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders Week 18 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Kansas City Chiefs (13-3) finish the regular season against the Las Vegas Raiders (6-10) Saturday with kickoff from Allegiant Stadium set for 4:30 p.m. ET (ESPN/ABC). Below, we look at Chiefs vs. Raiders odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our NFL picks and predictions.

The Chiefs have clinched the AFC West and are fighting for the No. 1 seed in the conference. Kansas City has won 4 straight games and hasn’t lost a game by more than 3 points this season; however, they have only covered the spread 4 times this year. All 4 covers have come against NFC opponents (Arizona, San Francisco, Seattle and Tampa Bay).

Kansas City is coming off a 27-24 win over the Denver Broncos, failing to cover as 13.5-point favorites. MVP candidate QB Patrick Mahomes leads the league in passing yards (5,048) and passing TDs (40).

The Raiders have been eliminated from playoff contention so this matchup is more about divisional pride for them. They recently benched QB Derek Carr, who decided to leave the team altogether. Carr was replaced by Jarrett Stidham, who threw for 365 yards, 3 TDs and 2 INTs in a 37-34 overtime loss to the 49ers last week.

Chiefs vs. Raiders head-to-head

The Chiefs lead the all-time series 71-54-2 that dates back to 1960. The Chiefs are on a 4-game win streak and have won 9 of their last 10 against the Raiders, with Mahomes holding an 8-1 record against them.

The Chiefs beat the Raiders 30-29 in Week 5, but did not cover as 7.5-point favorites. The Chiefs were down 17-0 in the 2nd quarter but managed a comeback and went up 30-23. The Raiders could have tied the game in the 4th quarter after scoring a TD and making it 30-29, but they instead went for a 2-point conversion which failed.

This will be Stidham’s 2nd career start, but not be his 1st matchup against Kansas City. Stidham faced the Chiefs in 2020 as QB for the New England Patriots, coming in for a benched Brian Hoyer in the 4th quarter. Stidham went 5-for-13 with 60 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs in the 26-10 loss to the Chiefs.
