The Chicago Bulls (7-11) and Washington Wizards (2-13) meet in NBA Cup group play Tuesday. Tip-off from Capital One Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Bulls vs. Wizards odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.
Season series: First meeting; Bulls won 2-1 last season
The Bulls are coming off a 142-131 loss as 4-point underdogs against the visiting Memphis Grizzlies Saturday with the Over (244) hitting. Chicago has alternated wins and losses over its last 5 games, as well as covers and non-covers.
The Wizards pushed as 12-point underdogs in a 115-103 loss at the Indiana Pacers Sunday as the Under (240) cashed. Washington has lost 11 consecutive games straight up (SU), going 2-8-1 against the spread (ATS).
The Bulls went 2-1 ATS in 3 meetings last season, while the Over went 2-1. In their last meeting on April 12, Chicago covered as a 1.5-point underdog in a 129-127 win at Washington while the Over (224.5) hit. The Bulls were resting multiple starters in that victory after clinching the ninth seed in the East the night before.

Bulls at Wizards picks and predictions
Prediction
Bulls 125, Wizards 115
Moneyline
The Bulls (-210) will likely hand Washington its 12th straight loss, but the bid-ask difference is too high in this market to recommend a play.
PASS. Bet the spread and/or total instead.
Against the spread
This is about as square as it gets, but I’ve lost enough bets this season trying to get value with Washington. Forget its 11-game SU skid, it’s still a horrendous 2-8-1 ATS in its last 11 games. This team somehow manages to keep getting worse while the market tries to catch up by lowering its power rating.
Who are the Bulls to be laying 4.5 on the road? There’s an argument that this spread is a little high, but the Wizards just can’t seem to meet the market’s expectation of them.
BET BULLS -4.5 (-115).
Over/Under
Washington is averaging 102.25 points over its last 4 games, while the O/U has gone 1-3.
The Bulls have scored 131 or more points in back-to-back games, but they’re still 18th on the season in offensive efficiency. Let’s not overreact to a 2-game sample size.
BET UNDER 245.5 (-115).
