Celtics at Spurs: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Spurs 116, Celtics 113
Money line (ML)
The SPURS (+135) are a good play on their home floor as short ‘dogs. San Antonio won 121-101 on their home floor last time out, and they’re a respectable 3-2 SU across the past five. The Celtics (-160) pounded a poor Bulls team 119-103 last time out, but they are 1-2 SU/ATS in their past three on the road. San Antonio is relatively healthy, and they should protect their home court.
Against the spread (ATS)
The SPURS +3.5 (-110) are the play if you don’t trust San Antonio to win straight up. The Celtics -3.5 (-110) enter this one just 1-5 ATS across the past six as road favorites. On the flip side, the Spurs are 11-5 ATS in the past 16 as an underdog dating back to last season. And while these teams meet just twice per season, the C’s are just 1-4 ATS in the past five meetings.
Over/Under (O/U)
OVER 225.5 (-110) is the lean here. San Antonio has seen the Over cash in eight of the past nine games against teams with a winning overall record, while hitting in five of the past seven as a home ‘dog. And Boston has hit the Over in seven of its past eight against winning teams.
