Prediction

Celtics 108, Cavaliers 104

Moneyline (ML)

The Celtics have been absolutely decimated by injuries lately and could be without four of their top five scorers on Wednesday night. Still, they’re the road favorites despite losing two in a row and going 4-4 in their last eight. The Cavs have lost three in a row themselves and will likely be without two of their best big men.

The Celtics are clearly the better team, even with the injuries they’re dealing with, so take the CELTICS (-182) to win outright.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The Celtics began the day favored by 2.5 points on the road, but that line has moved to 4.5 — despite Boston coming off a nine-point overtime home loss to the Nets on Tuesday night. The Celtics’ lingering injuries are obviously accounted for in this line, making it a tough wager because of the uncertainty that comes with reserves getting starting roles.

Boston is 5-1-1 ATS in its last seven games, including 4-2 ATS in its last six road games. The Cavs are only 9-24 SU at home this season. But even with the Celtics banged up, teasing the line down to -3.5 is a winning bet against Cleveland. Take the CELTICS -3.5 (-125).

Over/Under (O/U)

The over/under is only 217.5 points in this Eastern Conference matchup. The total has gone Over in five of the Celtics’ last seven games and four of Cleveland’s last six.

The Over has hit in 19 of the Cavs’ 33 home games this season, too, but it won’t surpass that 217.5-point mark tonight. The Celtics simply don’t have the offense to put up enough points without their top scorers on the court. Take the UNDER (-110).
