Prediction
Clippers 117, Cavaliers 101
Moneyline (ML)
The Clippers (-1429) are massive home favorites against the Cavaliers (+825), who are coming of a Monday loss at the Los Angeles Lakers. Cleveland has now lost six of its last eight games, while the Clippers have had incredible success at home this season. However, there just isn’t enough value here to bet on the Clippers, so PASS on this moneyline.
Line/Against the Spread (ATS)
The CLIPPERS (-15.5, –106) open this game as double-digit favorites, and it still might not be enough points. On Monday, the Cavaliers lost by 29 points to a Lakers’ team that was without Anthony Davis. Having to play on the road for the second-straight evening, it doesn’t appear they have a chance to hang with the Clippers. I’m taking LOS ANGELES to cover.
Over/Under (O/U)
The total is set at 225.5 points (Over +105, Under -125), which feels far too high considering how much Cleveland’s offense has struggled this season. The Cavs average less than 105 points per game and will face one of the toughest NBA defenses in the Clippers Tuesday. I like the UNDER here as the Cavs could struggle to score more than 100 against the Clippers.
