Carson Wentz is an elite quarterback and although the discussions constantly center around his lack of a playoff win or Super Bowl start, the statistics show that the Eagles star is among the best after his first four seasons.
Wentz made history last season with another 20+ touchdown season to go with 7 total interceptions or less, joining Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Russell Wilson, Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers in that distinct club.
Wentz also attempted over 600 passes on the season and joins Tom Brady, Matt Ryan, and Aaron Rodgers as the only guys in league history to throw 7 or few interceptions with so many attempts.
On Wednesday during The Herd with Colin Cowherd, the FS1 star compared the Eagles quarterback to Russell Wilson, calling him the most underrated quarterback in the game today.

Cowherd went on to call Wentz the new Russell Wilson and compared him to Patrick Mahomes.
“He’s good, stop it. He’s the only guy in this league, you watch Patrick Mahomes and you can see Wentz.” “Arm, angles, talent, mobility, size, moves. Gets banged up because he moves around a little bit. No one else looks like Mahomes, Wentz kinda looks like him.”
Most pundits will dismiss as Cowherd justing doing his thing, but the numbers don’t lie and Wentz will likely hold every Eagle passing record.
His 97 career touchdown passes are ninth-most in NFL history by a QB in his first four seasons and of the 28 signal-callers with at least 80 touchdown passes in their first four seasons, none has a better interception ratio than Carson Wentz.
