Vols continue recruiting at high level with Jaedon Harmon commitment

Tennessee football and head coach Josh Heupel continue recruiting at a high level.

Tennessee flipped 2025 Alabama four-star linebacker commit Jaedon Harmon on Sunday, helping the Vols record a historical month on the recruiting trail for Josh Heupel and his coaching staff.

The Vols not only bolstered their 2025 recruiting class, but Tennessee is also off to a great start to its 2026 recruiting class over the last month.

In Tennessee’s 2025 class, along with flipping Harmon, the Vols also flipped No. 3 tight end prospect DaSaahn Brame, while adding No. 4 safety Lagonza Hayward and No. 1 offensive tackle David Sanders Jr.

Tennessee has 23 commitments in its 2025 recruiting class, while adding No. 1 quarterback Faizon Brandon and No. 9 tight end Carson Sneed to the Vols’ 2026 class.

Sneed’s top five schools are Tennessee, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Auburn and Louisville.

Sneed attended Tennessee’s Night at Neyland camp on June 1. He also visited the Vols nine times over the last year.

The four-star tight end is from Donelson Christian Academy in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sneed is ranked as the No. 172 overall prospect in the class of 2026. He ranks as the No. 8 tight end and No. 4 player in Tennessee.

The Vols offered Sneed a scholarship on March 4, 2023.

Sneed’s brother, Dayton Sneed, committed to Tennessee as a preferred walk-on Jan. 24, 2023.

LSU offers 2026 tight end from Nashville, Tennessee

There are currently no Crystal Ball projections for Carson Sneed at this time, but Louisville is a 38% favorite per On3.

LSU’s recruiting staff has been ramping up their recruitment of the 2026 recruiting class lately. Recently, it offered a 2026 tight end from Nashville, Tennessee.

The Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats finished the 2022 season 7-5 with a loss to Friendship Christian in the second round of the TSSAA Division II Class A playoffs.
