Cardinals injury report: DeAndre Hopkins, Byron Murphy, Marco Wilson questionable

The Cardinals have four starters questionable for their Week 3 against the Jaguars.

The Arizona Cardinals released their final injury report of the week and have several starters whose availability on Sunday is uncertain. They officially ruled out two players, while another four are officially questionable.

The four players who are questionable are all starters.

Offensive linemen Josh Miles and Brian Winters were both ruled out. Miles has an ankle injury that kept him out of practice both Thursday and Friday. He would not have been active anyway. He was a healthy scratch each of the first two weeks of this season.

Winters is not injured but missed practice Friday because of a personal issue. He will not play, meaning the Cardinals will be down their primary backup guard.

Starting right tackle Kelvin Beachum (ribs) was limited in practice on Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. He is questionable. He fractured a rib in Week 1 and played the first half of Week 2.

Receiver DeAndre Hopkins did not practice all week with a rib injury. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he would be a game-day decision. Based on his track record, he likely will play, even if it means he has a limited role.

Cornerbacks Byron Muprhy (ankle) and Marco Wilson (ankle), both starters, are also questionable for the game and considered game-day decisions. Murphy was a new addition to the injury report Thursday. He did not practice then and was limited on Friday. Wilson injured his ankle in the first half of the Cardinals’ Week 2 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He did not practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday and Friday.

Left guard Justin Pugh (shoulder) sat out Wednesday, was limited Thursday and was a full participant in practice Friday. He is good to go on Sunday.
