Check out which players for the Cardinals and Browns either will not play or might not play because of injuries.
The Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns have wrapped up their weeks of practice and they both released their final injury reports of the week. After Cleveland’s injury report was extensive for practice designations, only four players carry a game designation. Three players were ruled out and another is questionable.
For the Cardinals, two players were ruled out and another five are officially questionable.

The Arizona Cardinals are down another running back as they are on the road in Week 9 to take on the Cleveland Browns. They released their final injury report and have two players ruled out and another five are officially questionable.
The details of their final injury report are below.
The Browns released their first injury report of the week.
The Cleveland Browns will face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday and began their week of practice. They also released their first injury report of the week, which was quite lengthy.
However, many players listed were given some time off because of rest.
Quarterback Deshaun Watson was limited in his return to practice.
The Cardinals had three key offensive players out on Wednesday.
The Arizona Cardinals began their week of practice to prepare for their road matchup this weekend against the Cleveland Browns. They released their first injury report and it had three key offensive players out to start the week.
Three players did not practice because of injuries. Another three were limited and one was a full participant.
The details of Wednesday’s injury report are below.
The injuries to OL Trystan Colon, RB Damien Williams and WR Michael Wilson are still being evaluated.
The Arizona Cardinals came out of their Week 8 loss to the Baltimore Ravens with a couple of injuries. Head coach Jonathan Gannon gave an update on Monday about the injuries, although he didn’t have much information.
The three players brought up are still being evaluated.
“We’ll see how the next 48 hours go and how that progresses and how the week goes,” he said.
Offensive lineman Trystan Colon has a calf injury that caused him to exit the game on Sunday.
Running back Damien Williams has a foot injury.
Receiver Michael Wilson was seen going to the locker room late in the game. Gannon didn’t specify what his injury was but did say “he should be okay.”
The Cardinals’ first injury report of the week will come out Wednesday afternoon.
The Browns have ruled out Chubb and one other player, while 10 other players are questionable for the game.
The Cleveland Browns will be without arguably their most important offensive player Sunday afternoon when they take on the Arizona Cardinals. Running back Nick Chubb (calf) has been ruled out of the game after missing practice all week.
He is one of two players ruled out on the final injury report of the week.
He and linebacker Malcolm Smith (abdomen) will not play against the Cardinals.
However, there are 10 players listed as questionable for the game.
Tackles Jack Conklin (knee) and Jedrick Wills (ankle) did not practice Friday. Conklin did not practice all week and Wills was limited Wednesday before missing two days in a row. They would seem like the least likely of the group to play.
Starting center J.C. Tretter (knee) sat out Wednesday and Thursday but was limited on Friday. He probably will give it a go. Running back Kareem Hunt is also questionable with wrist and knee injuries. Without Chubb, he will have to tough it out. He was unable to practice Wednesday or Thursday but got limited work Friday.
The rest of the players listed as questionable all were limited at least Thursday and Friday.
Only two Cardinals players have been ruled out for Sunday’s road game against the Browns.
The Arizona Cardinals released their final injury report of the week and, with the exception of tight end Maxx Williams, whose season ended with a knee injury, and center Rodney Hudson could be fairly close to full health as they take on the Cleveland Browns on the road in Week 6.
They ruled out two players. Hudson (shoulder, ribs) did not practice all week and was ruled out earlier in the week. Max Garcia will get the start at center.
Also ruled out was reserve linebacker Tanner Vallejo (hand). He did not practice all week.
Five players are questionable for the game: tackle Kelvin Beachum (ribs), linebacker Jordan Hicks (toe), running back Chase Edmonds (shoulder) and cornerbacks Byron Murphy (ribs) and Marco Wilson (ribs). Beachum and Edmondswere limited in practice all week but both played last week against the San Francisco 49ers. Hicks, Wilson and Murphy will all be game-day decisions, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
Hicks did not practice Wednesday or Thursday but got limited work on Friday. Wilson and Murphy both sat out Wednesday but were limited Thursday and Friday.
Quarterback Kyler Murray (shoulder) has no game designation for Sunday. He was limited Wednesday and Thursday but participated fully on Friday. He will play and start.
Receiver DeAndre Hopkins (illness) was a full participant in practice Friday after missing two straight days. He is set to play and is not even questionable for the game. Such is the case for tight end Darrell Daniels (illness), who came off the COVID list this week.
Not listed on the injury report is linebacker Chandler Jones, who is currently on the COVID list. It is unlikely he plays, as he must be symptom-free for two days and have two negative tests separated by 24 hours to be able to be activated off the list.
The game kicks off at 1:05 p.m. Arizona time Sunday afternoon.
The Browns could be out their two top running backs and three starting offensive linemen. All five of these players have missed two straight practices.
The Cleveland Browns released their second injury report of the week in Week 6, in preparation for their game against the Arizona Cardinals. Once again, it was lengthy and six players did not participate, but there was both good and bad news for them.
For the good news, defensive ends Myles Garrett (knee, ankle), Jadeveon Clowney (elbow, knee) and Tak McKinley (ankle, knee) all were upgraded. After sitting out on Wednesday, all three were limited on Thursday. The same applied to tight end David Njoku (knee).
However, running backs Nick Chubb (calf) and Kareeem Hunt (wrist, knee) both missed their second straight day of practice. Starting tackle Jack Conklin (knee) and starting center J.C. Tretter (knee) also missed their second straight practice. Tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. (ankle) was downgraded. He was limited Wednesday but did not participate Thursday.
Cleveland is looking at potentially three starting offensive linemen missing the game right now.
Linebacker Malcolm Brown (abdomen) also sat out for the second straight day.
These players were limited for the second day in a row: CB A.J. Green (shoulder, knee), DT Malik Jackson (knee), DT Malik McDowell (elbow, foot, neck), CB Greg Newsome II (calf), CB Denzel Ward (neck), CB Greedy Williams (shoulder, knee).
Linebacker Elijah Lee (hip) was a full participant again.
Two key offensive players were limited again, but two starting cornerbacks returned to practice.
The Arizona Cardinals released their second injury report of the week and not much changed. Defensive tackle Corey Peters, who had the day off for rest on Wednesday, returned to practice and two players were upgraded. Otherwise, the injury report was unchanged.
Cornerbacks Byron Murphy (ribs) and Marco Wilson (ribs) were upgraded. They got limited in work in practice after sitting out on Wednesday. This gives them a better chance of playing Sunday when the Cardinal stake on the Cleveland Browns on the road.
Four players did not participate for the second day in a row — linebacker Jordan Hicks (toe), linebacker Tanner Vallejo (hand), center Rodney Hudson (shoulder, ribs) and receiver DeAndre Hopkins (illness). Hudson has already been ruled out of the game this week.
Quarterback Kyler Murray (shoulder), running back Chase Edmonds (shoulder), tackle Kelvin Beachum (ribs) and tight end Darrell Daniels (illness) were all limited for the second day in a row. All are expected to play this week.
Linebacker Dennis Gardeck (hand) was a full participant again.
