Greg Rousseau named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after terrorizing Cardinals

He had 3 sacks against the Cardinals in Week 1.

The Arizona Cardinals had a habit of turning opponents into conference players of the week last season and the trend continues after Week 1. Buffalo Bills defensive end Greg Rousseau was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday by the NFL after he  terrorized Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray.

Rousseau had six tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble against Arizona.

He had five sacks all last season. The Bills hope he breaks out this season.

He was a big reason why the Cardinals weren’t able to continue the offensive success they had in their first three possessions of the game.

Hopefully, Rousseau just be a one-off this year and that it doesn’t begin a trend again for Cardinals opponents.
