The Cardinals lost 30-23 Monday night at home to the Los Angeles Rams. The loss dropped them from the No. 1 seed in the NFC to the No. 3 seed. They missed out on a chance to clinch a playoff berth. They are 3-3 in their last six games after starting the season 7-0.

The Lions lost 38-10 to the Denver Broncos Sunday. They picked up their first win of the season in Week 13 but were unable to build on it. They turned the ball over twice and allowed the Broncos to convert 8 of 12 third downs. The Lions are averaging only 16.4 points per game and allowing 27.2.

Cardinals at Lions head-to-head

Lions QB Jared Goff, in his first season with Detroit after playing five seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, is 7-1 in eight career starts against the Cardinals. He has not lost a game to Arizona since his rookie season in 2016.
