Tennessee freshman Christian Moore is playing with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Moore started in left field Friday against the Wareham Gatemen. He went 0-1, recording four walks and one run, in Hyannis’ 6-1 win.

Friday’s contest was Moore’s seventh during the 2022 Cape Cod Baseball League season.

Through seven games, Moore has recorded a .278 batting average, totaling two RBIs, five runs, five hits, one double, one triple and seven walks.

Moore appeared in 51 games, starting 29 contests, for the Vols during the 2022 season. He recorded a .305 batting average, while totaling 10 home runs, 36 RBIs, 30 runs, 36 hits, three doubles, two triples, 27 walks and one stolen base.

Tennessee redshirt freshman Charlie Taylor made his Cape Cod Baseball League debut Sunday with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks.

Taylor started at catcher in Hyannis’ 4-4 tie against the Chatham Anglers. He went 0-for-2 in the contest with two strikeouts.

Taylor appeared in 22 games, starting 12 contests, for the Vols in 2022.

The 5-foot-10, 183-pound catcher redshirted during the 2021 season. Taylor was named to the 2020-21 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.

He came to Tennessee from Wesleyan School in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.

Tennessee commit Dakota Harris recorded two hits Monday for the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Harris was 2-for-2 with two walks against the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound infielder played at Polk State College in Winter Haven, Florida during the 2022 season.

Harris recorded a .289 batting average, totaling two home runs, 48 RBIs, 44 runs, 68 hits, 12 doubles, five triples, 26 walks and 22 stolen bases in 57 games.

Tennessee baseball player Jordan Beck was hitless, but reached base once for the Harwich Mariners in a Cape Cod Baseball League game Sunday.

Beck started and played right field for the Mariners in their 4-0 loss to the Brewster Whitecaps at Stony Brook Field in Brewster, Massachusetts.

Beck went 0-for-2 with a walk and two strikeouts. He is now hitless in his last two games after failing to reach base as a pinch hitter Saturday night.

He is now batting .262 for the Mariners this summer.

During his sophomore season on Rocky Top, Beck batted .271 for the Volunteers. He had 15 home runs in 64 RBIs.

Beck played in 67 games for UT in 2021 and made 66 starts. He also recorded 16 doubles and two triples.

Tennessee baseball player Jordan Beck went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk Thursday in the Cape Cod Baseball League.

His team, the Harwich Mariners, captured a 5-3 victory over Yarmouth-Dennis at Whitehouse Field.

Beck, who is Harwich’s starting right fielder, has reached base safely in each of his Cape Cod Baseball League games since going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts on June 30.

He is now batting .300 for the Mariners (6-6-2), who led 3-0 in the bottom of the first inning against Yarmouth-Dennis.

During his sophomore season with the Volunteers, Beck batted .271 and hit 15 home runs. He recorded 64 RBIs.

Beck appeared in 67 games and made 66 starts for Tennessee in 2021 and totaled 16 doubles and two triples.
