The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the better punters in the NFL and the intent is for the franchise to prevent him from leaving in free agency.
On Thursday, the Eagles officially tendered exclusive-rights free agent punter Cameron Johnston.

Johnson can’t sign with another team after being tendered so he’ll likely sign the offer sheet and be under contract for 2020 with a minimum base salary for his third NFL season.
Signed by the Eagles as an undrafted rookie in 2017, Johnson has been the team’s punter the last two seasons.
