For a little while, Notre Dame football has been quiet on the recruiting trail, but it looks like this week will be much different.
While the Irish are hosting their ‘Grill and Chill’ event, they also sent out an offer on Monday. The scholarship went to Tennessee cornerback [autotag]Caden Harris[/autotag], who is ranked as the country’s No. 181 overall prospect and 13th ranked player at his position according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Harris has quite the impressive offer list before he starts his junior season as Alabama, Georgia, LSU and now Notre Dame have pulled the trigger on the star corner.

It would not be surprising at all to see more offers come in for Harris once his season starts. This will be an extremely tough recruiting battle for the Irish to win, but they are now officially in the mix.
