Head coach Buzz Williams reflects on the Aggies 74-62 win against LSU

On the latest episode of the “Buzz Williams Radio Show,” Williams reflects on the Aggie’s 74-62 win over LSU on Saturday night

Texas A&M (18-7, 10-2 SEC) has sent a clear message to the college basketball world since the start of SEC play, reaching 10-2 in the conference after defeating LSU 74-62 on Saturday night, sitting comfortably in second place behind the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Even with the program’s recent success, the “Bracketology” community is split on their belief in the Aggies as a Tournament team this season, even after being ranked 25th in the newest USA TODAY Coaches poll on Monday afternoon.

In a collective team effort, the Aggies were once again led by the team’s leading scorer Wade Taylor IV, who netted 23 points and 4 assists against the Tigers, including a 5-8 line from 3-point territory. Witchita State transfer Dexter Dennis scored 13 points on 3-5 from deep, while Tyrece “Boots” Radford provided 12 points and 8-12 from the free throw line, helping seal the game in the final seconds at the charity stripe.

Without his normal after-game press conference, Head coach Buzz Williams made his normal appearance on “The Buzz Williams Show,” to reflect on the win against the Tigers on Saturday night, plus how the team is preparing to take on Arkansas in a home rematch with plenty of postseason ramifications on the line. Here is what Coach had to say during his interview with “Voice of the Texas A&M Aggies” Andrew Monaco.
