Bulls at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 120, Bulls 111

Moneyline

In a Feb. 3 meeting, the Kings (-250) covered as 1-point underdogs with a 123-115 win at Chicago, led by 41 points from Fox.

The Bulls have failed to score 100 points in 2 of their last 3 games. They are 12-17 on the road this season.

The Kings are 16-10 at home but 3-3 in their last 6 at Golden 1 Center. They have a top-10 offense, averaging 118.2 points per game (PPG), and face a Bulls team that is 25th in the league in scoring at 111.7 PPG.

Expect the Kings to have the edge — especially if Fox is able to go — but don’t bet the Kings on the moneyline at -250. You won’t win enough money to make it worth your while.

PASS.

Against the spread

The Kings are only 10-14 ATS as home favorites, but the Bulls aren’t an obvious bet as road dogs at 10-11 ATS. The Kings have, though, covered the spread in 6 of their last 7 wins.

The Bulls have covered the spread only once in their last 8 losses.

BET KINGS -6.5 (-110).

Over/Under

The Feb. 3 meeting finished with 238 total points, blowing past the projection of 228.5.

Three of the last 4 for the Bulls, and 4 of the last 6, have stayed below the projection for this matchup.

However, 4 of the last 5 for the Kings have had totals higher than 227 points.

BET OVER 227.5 (-110).

Chicago Bulls at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Chicago Bulls at Sacramento Kings odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Chicago Bulls (41-26) kick off a three-game Western Conference road trip Monday night against the Sacramento Kings (24-45). Tip-off is 10 p.m. ET at Moda 1 Center. Below, we look at the Bulls vs. Kings odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Bulls have won two in a row and have been super streaky. Before their two consecutive wins, they had lost five straight games after winning six in a row. They are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, but only three games behind the first-place Miami Heat.

The Kings are struggling. They have lost four straight and nine of their last 11 games. This game opens a four-game homestand that includes three playoff-bound teams from the East and then the first-place Phoenix Suns.

Bulls at Kings odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 114, Bulls 111

Money line

The Kings are so hard to gauge. They play much better at home (15-20) than on the road (9-22), while the Bulls are only pedestrian (16-16) on the road.

The Kings have home wins over the Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks. They come up with impressive wins from time to time.

Tonight, I’m going for the upset to kick off the homestand for the Kings.

Take the KINGS (+140).

Against the spread

The Bulls beat the Kings at home 125-118 on Feb. 16. Seven of their last eight wins have been by at least five points. But they are 14-17-1 ATS on the road this season. They covered the spread in their last win but failed to do so for six straight games.

The Kings have covered the spread in five of their last eight games.

They are 32-36-1 ATS overall but 17-18 ATS at home.

Expecting the outright win for the Kings, naturally I have KINGS +3.5 (-105).

Over/Under

The Kings-Bulls matchup in Chicago last month went for 243 total points, but that was one of only two games in the last 11 for the Bulls to finish with more than Monday’s projected total.

Four of the Kings’ last six games would have been under the 235.5 projected total.

The Kings are 17-18 O/U at home, while the Bulls are 15-16-1 O/U on the road this season.

Take UNDER 235.5 (-108).

Chicago Bulls at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Wednesday’s Chicago Bulls at Sacramento Kings NBA betting odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Sacramento Kings (3-4) begin a seven-game homestand by hosting the Chicago Bulls (4-4) at the Golden 1 Center for a 10 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we analyze the Bulls-Kings NBA betting odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The Kings came out the gate hot starting 2-1 but are currently on a three-game losing streak with the latest being a 31-point road blowout to the Golden State Warriors on Jan. 4. Sacramento took an ole fashion Warriors whooping with Golden State hitting 52.6% of their shots (53.5% from three) and throwing 41 assists in the Kings’ 137-106 loss this past Monday.

Chicago has recovered from an expected 0-3 start to win four of its last five games. The Bulls rallied from an 18-point first-quarter deficit to upset the Portland Trail Blazers as 9.5-point road underdogs 111-108 last night. Bulls-Kings is Chicago’s third in a four-game West Coast trip.

The home team won and covered both meetings in last year’s season series. However, this head-to-head has been fairly one-sided recently as the Kings are five of the last six, including a 5-1-0 ATS record in those games.

Bulls at Kings: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks

Money line (ML)

PASS ON THE MONEY LINE. I am leaning toward the Bulls plus the points but I do think the Kings pull this one out with Chicago playing the second of a back-to-back and being without a few contributors.

Against the spread (ATS)

This whole Sacramento thing stinks and the Kings should not be laying 7.5 against anyone in the NBA. Kings PF Marvin Bagley‘s father tweeted out for Sacramento to trade his son and the team’s third-leading scorer SG Buddy Hield has reportedly been disgruntled with his role on the team and open to a trade.

I only lean BULLS +7.5 (-120) for a half-unit because I am nervous as to why this line this high and you could argue that Sacramento’s results are more of a product of its tough schedule.

Over/Under (O/U)

The OVER 229.5 (-110) for 1 unit is my favorite play in Bulls-Kings. Both teams are bottom-10 in opponent’s points per game and defensive rating. They both play at an above-average pace with Chicago having the second-fastest pace in the Association. Also, both teams are in the top-10 in free throw rate so we can see a bunch of points scored while the clock has stopped.
