The rich just got richer.
The Buccaneers already boasted the league’s best one-two wide receiver combo in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and now, quarterback Tom Brady will have another talented receiver to throw to, as the Bucs used a fifth-round pick to draft Tyler Johnson out of Minnesota.

Johnson is the second Minnesota player the Bucs have drafted so far this year, with the other being safety Antoine Winfield Jr., who was taken in round two with the 45th pick. The 6-foot-2 Johnson had a big year for the Golden Gophers in 2019, finishing with 86 receptions for 1,318 yards and 13 touchdowns.

I donāt hate this pick. But why not Jake Fromm ? He was available and could learn from being under Tom Brady

Such a sleeper pick for the Bucs. Love this kid with the Gophers and disappointed the Vikings didn't grab him. But happy to see him go to a team with a HOF qb and so many weapons that will draw coverage away from him. Great pic for the Minnesota Golden Buccaneers
