Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Milwaukee Bucks (42-23) and Sacramento Kings (36-27) meet Tuesday. Tip-off from Golden 1 Center is set for 10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Bucks vs. Kings odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Bucks lead 1-0

The Bucks snapped a 2-game skid with a cover as 6.5-point favorites in a 124-117 win against the LA Clippers Sunday with the Over (221) cashing at Crypto.com Arena. G Damian Lillard exploded for 16 points in the 4th quarter — 35 on the night — and F Giannis Antetokounmpo added 34 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds.

The Kings failed to cover for a 2nd straight game with a 112-104 loss against the Houston Rockets in Sacramento Sunday as the Under (234) cashed. The Kings are 5-10 against the spread (ATS) in their last 15 games after their non-cover as 6.5-point favorites Sunday.

In a Jan. 14 meeting, the Kings covered as 4-point underdogs in a 143-142 Bucks OT win with the Over (247) hitting in Milwaukee. Lillard hit the game-winning buzzer-beating 3, and the Bucks came back from a 4-point deficit in the final 12 seconds of overtime.

Bucks at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 125, Bucks 115

Moneyline

The Kings were unlucky to lose in the Jan. 14 meeting — I’m sure they haven’t forgotten — after leading by 4 points with 12 seconds remaining in overtime. The last time the Kings failed to cover in 3 consecutive games was from Nov. 4-8; it’s rare that they string together 3 straight bad performances.

The Bucks can breathe a sigh of relief after snapping their 2-game skid, but those losses to the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers showed that maybe Milwaukee isn’t as good as we thought after hiring coach Doc Rivers. The Bucks beating the shorthanded Clippers by 7 — and barely covering as 6.5-point favorites — does not impress me.

BET KINGS (-105).

Against the spread

The Kings should cover, but I wouldn’t recommend paying 20 cents for the extra point-and-a-half

PASS. Bet the ML and/or total instead.

Over/Under

According to Teamrankings.com, the Over has hit in the last 22 meetings between these teams. That’s not a trend that I’m looking to fade.

BET OVER 235.5 (-105).

Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Milwaukee Bucks (48-19) square off against the Sacramento Kings (40-26) on Monday at Golden 1 Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Bucks vs. Kings odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Bucks lost 125-116 in overtime to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday and failed to cover as 3.5-point road underdogs. Milwaukee has won 19 of its last 21 games and is 1.5 games ahead of the Boston Celtics for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Kings covered as 3.5-point underdogs in Saturday’s 128-119 win over the Phoenix Suns. Sacramento is on a 3-game win streak and is the current No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.

Milwaukee covered as a 6.5-point home favorite in a 126-113 victory and the Over (236) connected in the first meeting this season between these teams on Dec. 7.

Bucks at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 126, Kings 123

Moneyline

BUCKS (-130) is how I’d play the moneyline in this matchup assuming that Antetokounmpo returns on Monday. Milwaukee has the best record in the NBA and is a solid 20-13 on the road.

Against the spread

BUCKS -2.5 (-105) is the pick in this contest despite Milwaukee being the road team. The Kings have been impressive this season, but if Antetokounmpo plays, it’ll be a tough game for the No. 2 seed in the West.

Milwaukee is 9-1 ATS in its last 10 road games and is 11-5 ATS in its last 16 road meetings against Sacramento.

Over/Under

Despite it being such a high total, OVER 244.5 (-112) is the lean in this battle between 2 of the top teams in the league. Both teams are top 11 in pace and in the top half of the league in effective field-goal percentage.

The Over is 22-4 in the last 26 meetings between these squads.

Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Milwaukee Bucks (31-17) take on the Sacramento Kings (22-27) Saturday at 10:10 p.m. ET at Golden 1 Center. Below, we analyze the Bucks-Kings odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Bucks played Friday night, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 127-109 on the road. They are in the middle of a six-game road trip in which they have won two of the first three games. They are only 13-10 on the road this season and are in third place in the East.

Sacramento played Friday as well, losing 115-94 at home to the Los Angeles Lakers. It was the Kings’ second loss in a row, which followed a five-game winning streak. They are in 11th place in the West, one game behind the Golden State Warriors and a play-in berth for the postseason.

Bucks at Kings: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bucks 129, Kings 120

Money line (ML)

This will be the 11th time this season the Kings play on no rest. They are 3-7 in such games, while the Bucks are 3-3. The Kings are 4-9 this season as home underdogs while the Bucks are 13-9 when favored on the road. It is a chalky pick, but the line isn’t too bad, so take BUCKS -275.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

Both the Bucks and Kings have not been good ATS bets. The Bucks are 22-26 ATS overall, while the Kings are 22-27 ATS. The Bucks are 6-6 ATS in their last 12 games favored by at least 6.5 points. The Kings are 4-9 ATS as home dogs this season. Take the BUCKS -6.5 (-110).

Over/Under (O/U)

Both teams have their games regularly go Over the total. The Bucks are No. 2 in the league with a 59.6% Over percentage and the Kings are tied for sixth at 57.1%. However, both teams have had three of their last four games go Under. The numbers say the smarter bet, though, is to take OVER 239.5 (-110).
