Ohio State at Penn State: Odds, prediction, betting lines and picks

Prediction

Ohio State 42, Penn State 25

Money line (ML)

OHIO STATE (-400) is a huge money line favorite over Penn State in this one, but it’s fair to be cautious about betting on the Buckeyes considering the odds. However, this is a safe bet here as the Buckeyes might be the best team in college football. Look for this game to be over early in Happy Valley.

Against the spread (ATS)

OHIO STATE -11.5 (-110) is a double-digit favorite over Penn State in this contest and that feels low. With Heisman-hopeful QB Justin Fields under center for the Buckeyes, look for them to score into the 40s as their offense is among the best in college football. With several potential first-round picks on defense as well, look for the Buckeyes to win and cover on Saturday evening.

Over/Under (O/U)

The total for this Big Ten matchup is set at 64.5, which is among the highest-ever between these two teams. But considering the firepower on both offenses, don’t be surprised if the OVER hits. Ohio State could easily score into the mid-40s and if Penn State can score a few touchdowns, take the OVER 64.5 (-110) here.
