After the NFL was forced to make schedule changes due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the New England Patriots (2-2) and Denver Broncos (1-3) are back in action in Week 6. The Patriots are big betting favorites in Sunday’s matchup, which will kick off at 1 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium. Below, we take a look at the early Week 6 betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.
Both the Patriots and Broncos were off in Week 5 after New England’s positive COVID-19 tests, making that their bye week. In their last game, the Patriots fell to the Kansas City Chiefs without QB Cam Newton, getting very poor play out of backups Brian Hoyer and Jarrett Stidham.
The Broncos knocked off the New York Jets for their first win of the season in Week 4, winning 37-28. QB Drew Lock has been out with a shoulder injury, making this the Brett Rypien show in recent weeks. Denver sits at 1-3 on the year and with key players out, it has been a rocky season thus far.
