Farragut High School opened TSSAA Class 4A state baseball tournament play with an 11-5 victory over Beech High School (Hendersonville, Tennessee) Tuesday in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

2024 Tennessee baseball signee Brennon Seigler went 2-for-3. He recorded two runs and one walk for Farragut. Farragut is attempting to win a third consecutive Class 4A state championship in Tennessee.

Seigler, a center fielder, is a four-year starter for the Admirals.

He committed to the Vols and head coach Tony Vitello as a high school freshman in Dec. 2020.

Farragut advances in the winner’s bracket of the tournament. The Admirals will next play on Wednesday against tournament co-host Siegel. First pitch is slated for 1:30 p.m. EDT.

Two future Tennessee baseball players contribute in Farragut’s series opening win versus Science Hill.

Two future Tennessee baseball players made contributions for Farragut High School in its victory in game No. 1 of TSSAA state sectionals on Wednesday. The contest took place in Farragut, Tennessee.

Farragut defeated Science Hill High School, 9-4, to open a best-of-three series.

Center fielder Brennon Seigler went 2-for-4 for Farragut. He recorded one stolen base.

Stratton Scott pitched one inning of scoreless relief for Farragut. He recoded the final three outs of the contest, and did not allow a run, hit or walk.

Farragut will next play on Thursday in game No. 2 of the series. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. EDT. If Farragut wins, the Admirals will return to the Tennessee state tournament next week.

If Science Hill wins on Thursday, game No. 3 will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of game No. 2.

Two future Tennessee baseball players win a region championship at Farragut.

Two future Tennessee baseball players contributed in Farragut High School winning a Region 2-4A Tournament championship.

Center fielder Brennon Seigler went 2-for-4 for Farragut in the Admirals’, 21-2, victory against Oak Ridge on Saturday at John Heatherly Field in Farragut, Tennessee.

Seigler is a 2024 Tennessee signee. He signed with the Vols in Dec. 2020.

He recorded two runs, one walk and one stolen base for Farragut against Oak Ridge.

Tennessee signee Stratton Scott pitched 1.1 innings of scoreless relief for Farragut. He allowed one hit and one walk, while recording one strikeout. Scott totaled 25 pitches, including 13 strikes.

Scott will be a third generation athlete for the Vols. His father, Benson Scott, played on Tennessee’s 1998 national championship football team. Stratton’s grandfather, Bobby Scott, was a former Tennessee quarterback and also played in the NFL.

2024 Tennessee baseball signee Brennon Seigler went 1-for-3 and hit a solo home run in Farragut’s win against Central.

Farragut (33-5) will host Oak Ridge High School in the Region 2-4A championship game on Saturday. First pitch is slated for 11 a.m. EDT.

Oak Ridge defeated Maryville, 7-1, in Friday’s other Tennessee state region tournament game.

Tennessee baseball commit Colton Denton hits a three-run home run in district tournament.

No. 1 seed Farragut High School (Farragut, Tennessee) defeated No. 4 seed Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, Tennessee), 16-3, Thursday in the second round of the District 4-4A Tournament at John Heatherly Field.

Colton Denton, a 2025 catching prospect and Tennessee commitment, went 1-for-1 for Hardin Valley. He hit a three-run home run in the third inning, accounting for all of Hardin Valley’s runs.

Farragut center fielder Brennon Seigler, a 2024 signee for the Vols, went 0-for-2 and recorded one run.

Farragut and Hardin Valley played for the TSSAA Class 4A state championship in 2023, with the Admirals prevailing to win a second consecutive class 4A title.

2024 Tennessee baseball signee Brennon Seigler recorded one hit and one RBI for Farragut High School (Farragut, Tennessee) in its, 4-1, loss to Orange Lutheran (Orange, California) on Wednesday in the USA Baseball National High School Invitational at the National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.

2024 Tennessee baseball signee Stratton Scott pitched 0.2 innings of relief for Farragut. Scott allowed two runs, two hits and one walk. He did not record a strikeout.

Wednesday’s loss ended a 13-game win streak for Farragut.

The USA Baseball National High School Invitational features 16 top high school teams in the country. Tournament play continues through Saturday.

Tennessee 2024 outfield commit Brandon Seigler was 1-for-4 against Stewarts Creek.

Farragut (35-8) will next play Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, Tennessee) Friday in the state championship game at Middle Tennessee State’s Reese Smith Jr. Field.

First pitch is slated for 8 p.m. EDT.

Hardin Valley Academy (34-6), the District 4-4A regular-season and postseason tournament champion, advanced to the championship game by sweeping Collierville High School (Collierville, Tennessee) Thursday.

Hardin Valley Academy advanced to the championship game through the loser’s bracket.

Hardin Valley Academy defeated Farragut in three of four meetings this season.

Farragut High School (Farragut, Tennessee) defeated Clarksville High School (Clarksville, Tennessee), 1-0, in the TSSAA Class 4A state baseball tournament Wednesday in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Tennessee 2024 outfield commit Brennon Seigler recorded one RBI for Farragut. He was 1-for-3 versus Clarksville.

Farragut (34-8) will next play Stewarts Creek High School (Smyrna, Tennessee) Thursday at 3 p.m. EDT.

The winner between Farragut and Stewarts Creek will advance to Friday’s state championship game. Farragut would have to lose twice for elimination from the state championship tournament.

Seigler was 2-for-4, recording three RBIs in Farragut’s tournament opener. Farragut defeated Independence High School (Thompson’s Station, Tennessee), 7-4.

Two Tennessee baseball commits lead Farragut to victory against Maryville.

A pair of Tennessee baseball commits led Farragut High School to a five-inning 12-0 win versus Maryville High School in Farragut, Tennessee on Monday.

Stratton Scott pitched a two-hit shutout for Farragut. He pitched five innings, allowing two hits and four walks, while recording seven strikeouts.

Scott is the grandson of former Tennessee quarterback Bobby Scott.

Center fielder Brennon Seigler went 3-for-3, recording one home run, one double, two runs and one RBI for Farragut.

Seigler and Scott are two of three Farragut players who have committed to play for the Vols. Senior left-handed pitcher Ashton Sulack committed to Tennessee on April 14.

Future Vol Brennon Seigler helps Farragut High return to state tournament

Farragut High School will have the chance to defend its 2019 Class AAA state baseball championship.

The Admirals earned that opportunity with a 9-2 victory over Seymour in a Section 1-AAA game at John Heatherly Field at the Ballpark in Farragut.

A future University of Tennessee baseball player had a big game for the Admirals (36-5), who will open play Tuesday in the state tournament in Murfreesboro.

Farragut freshman center fielder Brennon Seigler, a University of Tennessee commitment, went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and one RBI against the Eagles, who finish the 2021 campaign with a 32-4 record.

Farragut senior shortstop and UT signee Angus Pence went 0-for-4, but reached on an error in the bottom of the first inning.

For Seymour, Elijah Galyon walked three times. He also threw 1.1 innings of relief for the Eagles, surrendering two runs, two hits, four walks and striking out two.

Galyon is the son of former Volunteers’ and NFL linebacker Scott Galyon.

The younger Galyon is an East Tennessee State University signee. He signed with the Buccaneers after originally committing to Kentucky as a high school freshman.
