[autotag]Alpha Prime Racing[/autotag] announced on Thursday afternoon that [autotag]Brennan Poole[/autotag] will drive the No. 44 Xfinity car on a full-time basis in 2024. Poole will join Ryan Ellis as a second full-time driver at the organization. In 2023, the 32-year-old piloted the No. 6 Xfinity car for JD Motorsports and finished the year with one top-5 finish and one top-10 finish.
Poole has been a journeyman in NASCAR ever since he lost his ride at Chip Ganassi Racing in the Xfinity Series. Since then, Poole has driven for multiple teams, primarily in the NASCAR Truck Series. Now, he will have the best opportunity in full-time equipment since his final season with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2017.

Overall, this is a great hire for Alpha Prime Racing as Poole has elevated the equipment of lower-tier teams over the last few seasons. Poole will replace Jeffrey Earnhardt in the No. 44 car and could bring the organization to new and better places. With the 2023 season done and over with, Poole will look forward to his new journey in NASCAR.
