It took a shootout for the United States Men’s National Team to move past Canada on Sunday in the CONCACAF Quarter-final, but it was a former Michigan State soccer standout who helped give the Americans their first goal of the day.
DeJuan Jones, an East Lansing High School alumnus who played for Michigan State soccer from 2015-18, hit Brandon Vasquez with an amazing pass to put the USMNT up 1-0 on Canada.
