The Wolfpack posted a 30-21 win over then-No. 19 Wake Forest under the lights in Raleigh last weekend, their highest offensive output since dropping 41 on UConn back on Sept. 24. The cover as 3-point underdogs snapped an 0-5 ATS skid.

Moneyline
NC State (-1800) looked good last week against Wake Forest, as QB MJ Morris tossed 3 TDs while running for 43 yards. Finally, after several games of struggles for the Wolfpack offense, it looks like it has a viable solution to replace injured QB Devin Leary.
Still, you can’t risk 18 times your potential return on NC State, even if Boston College is the worst team in the ACC.
PASS.
Against the spread
Play BOSTON COLLEGE +19.5 (-111) on the road, as it has the defensive ability to keep NC State within 20 points.
Morehead looked sharp last week, albeit against Duke. But to be fair, the Blue Devils are bowl eligible, and no slouch. NC State could hit 30, but it hasn’t shown the balanced-type attack to go much higher than that.
Over/Under
OVER 41 (-113) is the slight lean, but play it very, very lightly.
BC hit the Over rather easily last week, while NC State went Under. Lately, it’s been all Under for the Eagles, though. The Under is 12-5 in the past 17 games overall, and 10-4 in the past 14 ACC games. The Under is also 6-1 in the past 7 meetings in this series, and 4-0 in the past 4 meetings in Raleigh.
The Over is 4-1 in the past 5 for NC State against losing teams, however. In addition, the Wolfpack should at least be able to get to 30. It won’t take much help from BC to get this game across the finish line for the Over.
