The Houston Texans fired head coach/general manager Bill O’Brien on Monday, just about 24 hours after they lost to the Minnesota Vikings at home to fall to 0-4 on the season.
O’Brien, of course, stunned everybody in March when he traded DeAndre Hopkins, one of the best wide receivers in the league, to the Arizona Cardinals for running back David Johnson and a second-round draft pick.
Hopkins is in the midst of another great season with Kyler Murray and the Cardinals while Johnson isn’t having a huge impact on the Texans.
Hopkins appeared to tweet about O’Brien’s firing late Monday night in a short and classy message:
Wish bad on no man.

Gotta think Deshaun Watson wishes he still had Hopkins as a teammate.
And you have to think Texans fans wish the trade was never made, too.
