Nebraska has been at the center of Big Ten drama since the conference initially decided to postpone fall sports. Whether it be questions about the Huskers staying in the league, or Nebraska football coach Scott Frost saying they would play no matter what, there has been no shortage of drama in Lincoln. This morning was no different.
During a morning press conference, per KETV ABC news in Omaha, Nebraska President Ted Carter accidentally spilled the conference plans to reinstate the fall football season:

Of all places for this to happen, we cannot be surprised that Nebraska accidentally leaked the news. This, however, is the exact news that many Big Ten fans, players, and coaches were hoping to hear today, and it looks as though tonight may mark the return of fall football. Hopefully this accident does not push the Big Ten decision back any further, and we can gain clarity on a decision surrounding the restart of football by tonight.
