McDonald’s birthday star Grimace and Western Kentucky Hilltoppers’ mascot are now friends

Well, the Grimace and Big Red are friends now.

Mascot worlds collided this week as McDonald’s the Grimace and Western Kentucky’s Big Red met at the fast food restaurant.

Big Red seemingly stopped by a McDonald’s to celebrate the Grimace’s birthday, which has inspired a purple-looking milkshake and a series of hilariously grim TikToks.

Well, the two mascots apparently became fast friends and spent the day together playing in the McDonald’s play place, throwing around the football on Western Kentucky’s football field and hanging out on WKU’s campus.

Was this just a special day between two mascots, or will these two make this a regular hangout? The world may never know, but we’re guessing the latter.

Did you need a video of the Grimace and WKU’s Big Red hanging out in your life? Well, if you did, it’s what you got.

Are you just tired of hearing about the Grimace’s McDonald’s birthday? Well, you might need to hang tight, because as long as this promotion is going on, the celebration probably won’t stop anytime soon.
