UFC on ESPN 26: Rodolfo Vieira vs. Dustin Stoltzfus odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 26 fight between Rodolfo Vieira and Dustin Stoltzfus with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a middleweight bout on Saturday’s main card, Rodolfo Vieira and Dustin Stoltzfus meet at UFC on ESPN 26 at the UFC’s APEX Facility in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 26 Vieira vs. Stoltzfus odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims start at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN+, with the main card starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Vieira heads into this fight with a 2-1 mark since arriving at the UFC level, and all three of his bouts have ended via submission. His last fight was a second-round submission loss February 13 to Anthony Hernandez at UFC 258. Seven of his eight pro fights have ended via submission, with six of them wins, and the other also finished inside the distance with a TKO victory.

Stoltzfus made his company debut November 21, 2020, at UFC 255 where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Kyle Daukaus. It was a rare occurrence to go to the judges as his previous five fights had finished inside the distance.

UFC on ESPN 26 Vieira vs. Stoltzfus: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Vieira 7-1-0 | Stoltzfus 13-2-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Vieira (-215) is a beast, and his fights usually end early; but, risking more than two times your potential return is risky business, especially since Stoltzfus is a tough customer.

PASS.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

The better play is to roll with VIEIRA BY SUBMISSION (+100) on the 7-way line. Seven of his eight career professional bouts have ended via submission, including each of his three fights at the UFC level.

If you want a little bit of wiggle room, in the event Vieira wins by knockout, take VIEIRA BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (-115) on the 5-way line.

In addition, UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (-185) is expensive, but a good play. Under 1.5 Rounds (-110) is much riskier and not as sure of a thing.

UFC on ESPN 26: Jeremy Stephens vs. Mateusz Gamrot odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 26 fight between Jeremy Stephens and Mateusz Gamrot with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a lightweight bout on Saturday’s main card, Jeremy Stephens and Mateusz Gamrot meet at UFC on ESPN 26 at the UFC’s APEX Facility in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 26 Stephens vs. Gamrot odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims start at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN+, with the main card starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Stephens has gone 0-4 with one No Contest over his last five fights, including a second-round KO/TKO to Calvin Kattar last time out May 9, 2020, at UFC 249. His last win was February 24, 2018, over three calendar years ago, against Josh Emmett in the main event.

Gamrot made his UFC debut October 17, 2020, with a split-decision loss to Guram Kutateladze. He rebounded on the Vettori-Holland Fight Night card April 10 by picking up a second-round KO/TKO win over Scott Holtzman to gain major confidence.

UFC on ESPN 26 Stephens vs. Gamrot: Odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:52 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Stephens +180 (bet $100 to win $180) | Gamrot -225 (bet $225 to win $100)
  • Over/Under: 2.5 rounds (Over -110 | Under -110)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes +105 | No -130)

UFC on ESPN 26 Stephens vs. Gamrot: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Stephens 28-18-0 | Gamrot 18-1-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

STEPHENS (+180) is in desperate need of a victory and he’ll get it against favorited Gamrot. While he has the five-bout winless skid the losses to Kattar, Yair Rodriguez, Zabit Magomedsharipov and Jose Aldo are certainly nothing to be ashamed about. That’s quite the gauntlet, and two of the fights went the distance, so Stephens is battle-tested.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

STEPHENS ON POINTS (+455) is worth a roll of the dice. This is just too good of a value to pass on as if he is going to get the victory he will do it by wowing the judges. The veteran hasn’t stuck around this long because he has no talent, he has just had a tough stretch lately against top big-time opponents.

In addition, play YES (+105): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE?, and you needn’t specify a winner on that particular wager. Also, if you want a little wiggle room, going with OVER 2.5 ROUNDS (-110) isn’t a bad value and protects against the late third-round finish.

UFC on ESPN 26: Gabriel Benitez vs. Billy Quarantillo odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 26 fight between Gabriel Benitez and Billy Quarantillo with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a featherweight bout on Saturday’s main card, Gabriel Benitez and Billy Quarantillo meet at UFC on ESPN 26 at the UFC’s APEX Facility in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 26 Benitez vs. Quarantillo odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims start at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN+, with the main card starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Benitez, a.k.a. “Moggly”, stopped a two-bout skid with a first-round KO/TKO win over Justin Jaynes last time out Dec. 5. Three of the southpaw’s past four fights have finished inside the distance with two knockout wins and one loss via KO/TKO. Six of his 10 fights have resulted in stoppages since he entered the UFC.

Quarantillo was 3-0 across his first three fights at the UFC level, but he suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Gavin Tucker at UFC 256 Dec. 12, in his most recent showing. Six of his past eight professional fights have finished inside the distance including two of his four fights for UFC.

UFC on ESPN 26 Benitez vs. Quarantillo: Odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:55 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Benitez -165 (bet $165 to win $100) | Quarantillo +140 (bet $100 to win $140)
  • Over/Under: 2.5 rounds (Over -185 | Under +150)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes -150 | No +125)

UFC on ESPN 26 Benitez vs. Quarantillo: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Benitez 22-9-0 | Quarantillo 15-3-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

QUARANTILLO (+140) is worth playing as the moderate underdog in this battle. He holds a 7.03-to-4.38 significant strikes landed per minute advantage while also being quite a bit more accurate. Quarantillo owns a 71.54-to-42.25 significant strikes accuracy percentage lead, and he also has the advantage on the ground, too.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

The first fight on the main card figures to be a slugfest, and you can expect this bout to go the distance. Two of Quarantillo’s past three fights have needed the judges to make a decision. I think QUARANTILLO ON POINTS (+280) is worth the playing, for a chance to nearly triple up.

In addition, YES (-150): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? is also a decent small-unit play.

UFC on ESPN 26: Marion Reneau vs. Miesha Tate odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 26 fight between Marion Reneau and Miesha Tate with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a women’s bantamweight bout on Saturday’s main card, Marion Reneau and Miesha Tate meet at UFC on ESPN 26 at the UFC’s APEX Facility in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 26 Reneau vs. Tate odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims start at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN+, with the main card starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Reneau, a.k.a. “The Belizean Bruiser”, has dropped four straight fights via unanimous decision. Her last victory came February 24, 2018, against Sara McMann via submission in the second round. The 44-year-old is 5-6-1 across her 12 fights at the UFC level with four finishes inside the distance.

Tate returns to the company for the first time since November 12, 2016, at UFC 205 where she took a unanimous decision loss against Raquel Pennington. The good news for “Cupcake” is that despite the long layoff she is still 10 years younger than her counterpart.

UFC on ESPN 26 Reneau vs. Tate: Odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:20 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Reneau +125 (bet $100 to win $125) | Tate -150 (bet $150 to win $100)
  • Over/Under: 2.5 rounds (Over -300 | Under +240)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes -250 | No +200)

UFC on ESPN 26 Reneau vs. Tate: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Reneau 9-7-1 | Tate 18-7-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

TATE (-140) is the moderate favorite despite a four-year layoff from the UFC and rust is a huge concern for bettors. However, Reneau is on a four-bout losing skid and she is 10 years older than Tate. It seems the former champ appears to have been gifted with a tune-up fight to win and get back on track.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

TATE ON POINTS (+135) at plus money is the best value on the board. While I am not terribly concerned with rust, or a lack of training on Tate’s part, I do believe Reneau will take her the distance in her return to the octagon. It won’t be easy, that’s for sure.

However, playing Yes (-250): Will the fight go the distance? is just too expensive to play despite not declaring a winner.

UFC on ESPN 26: Islam Makhachev vs. Thiago Moises odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 26 fight between Islam Makhachev and Thiago Moises with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a lightweight bout in Saturday’s main event, Islam Makhachev and Thiago Moises meet at UFC on ESPN 26 at the UFC’s APEX Facility in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 26 Makhachev vs. Moises odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims start at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN+, with the main card starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Makhachev enters the octagon with seven consecutive victories, including four via unanimous decision, two by way of submission and one KO/TKO victory. His last fight March 6 at UFC 259 resulted in a third-round submission against Drew Dober.

Moises is on a three-bout win streak, picking up a unanimous decision last time out February 27 against Alexander Hernandez. However, facing Makhachev is a huge step up in terms of the quality of his opponent. Five of his six fights at the UFC level have resulted in unanimous decisions, resulting in three wins and two losses.

UFC on ESPN 26 Makhachev vs. Moises: Odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 6:55 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Makhachev -715 (bet $715 to win $100) | Moises +490 (bet $100 to win $490)
  • Over/Under: 4.5 rounds (Over -140 | Under +115)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes -130 | No +105)

UFC on ESPN 26 Makhachev vs. Moises: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Makhachev 19-1-0 | Moises 15-4-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Makhachev (-715) will cost you a little more than seven times your potential return, and that’s not a recommended wager at any time. That’s just too much risk for not enough reward. Let’s get specific instead.

PASS.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

MAKHACHEV ON POINTS (-115) might be the best play on the board. Four of his past seven fights have ended up going the distance, while Moises has involved the judges in five of his past six outings. While the books expect Makhachev to be a clear winner, Moises is likely to hang around and make the judges have to make a decision.

As such, play YES (-130): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE?, and you needn’t specify a winner.
