Joe Burrow, fashion fan, isn’t worried about Bengals’ jersey combos

The White Tiger Bengals alternate jersey combo is cool, but Joe Burrow is cooler.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is something of an international fashion icon after that back-less suit thing on a fashion runway in Paris over the summer—never mind the endless pregame fits that go viral.

But when it comes to Bengals jerseys? The man couldn’t care less—in a good way.

Ahead of Week 8 when his team plays the Philadephia Eagles, Burrow was asked about the Bengals using the “White Tiger” alternate jersey combo.

“It just doesn’t matter to me. It looks cool,” Burrow said. “I’d play in just about anything. I’m just happy to be out there.”

Fair enough.

But again, this love for the game, regardless of everything else, isn’t new. Burrow is, after all, the guy who just a few years ago said he’d “play in trash bags.”

Bengals reveal jersey combo for Week 8 game vs. Eagles

The Bengals will pull out some must-see jerseys for the game against the Eagles.

The Cincinnati Bengals saved one of their best looks for the Week 8 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Then, the NFL flexed the showdown out of its planned spot.

It’s not hard to see why, of course. The Bengals had started 2-4 at the time of the announcement and the Eagles were at 3-2. That getting replaced by Bears vs. Commanders (and what was supposed to be No. 1 pick Caleb Williams vs. No. 2 pick Jayden Daniels before the latter’s injury) was an easy choice for the league.

The Bengals will roll with their whiteout look for the game, anyway, at least cementing the best-looking jersey match up Week 8:

Bengals reveal official jersey schedule for 2024 NFL season

Here’s the full uniform schedule for the Bengals.

The Cincinnati Bengals slowly rolled back the curtain on the team’s jersey schedule for the 2024 season, highlighting those primetime games and the new orange pants.

Monday, ahead of the preseason finale, the Bengals finally revealed the entire uniform schedule for the season.

That includes the orange pants right in Week 1, which will go with an orange jersey top for what the team is calling an Open in Orange event.

The Bengals will also go with an orange look in Week 13 for an AFC North showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Here is a look at the full jersey schedule released by the team:

Do the Bengals have alternate jerseys with orange pants on the way?

Are the Bengals going to do orange pants on an alternate jersey set?

Do the Cincinnati Bengals have orange pants in the works for an alternate jersey set?

Monday, screenshots and video from the upcoming Madden 25 from EA Sports started hitting social media and onlookers noticed a funny thing — Bengals players in orange pants.

One user’s screenshots displayed the jersey select screen, which listed the orange pants as a “NIKE home alternate pants” option.

The Bengals haven’t peeled back the proverbial curtain on any new alternate jersey designs, but it wouldn’t be the first time future jersey plans got oddly leaked. When the team completely redesigned jerseys, grainy leaks emerged online before the announcement, too.

A jersey set with orange pants could be a one-off thing for a special game or something more, so stay tuned.

The team fed into the hype, too:

Bengals reveal risky jersey combo for Week 17 vs. Chiefs

The Bengals have not done well in this jersey combo lately.

The Cincinnati Bengals will roll out a good-looking uniform combo for the Week 17 showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs.

It also might be a pretty dangerous one.

The Bengals will wear white jerseys and pants with black socks and black stripes on the road in Kansas City, topping it all off with the traditional orange helmet.

Interestingly, though, the Bengals haven’t fared too well in this one lately. According to Pro Football Network’s Jay Morrison, the Bengals have lost four straight in that combo — three this year and during last year’s AFC title game against these same Chiefs.

Of course, the Bengals have plenty of other tangible things to worry about before kickoff, like all of the problems plaguing the team right now, as explained by cornerback Mike Hilton.

The recent good news about Cincinnati’s slim playoff hopes still makes this game a must-win scenario.

Bengals reveal jersey combo for Week 16 showdown vs. Steelers

The Bengals will wear a winning jersey combo against the Steelers.

The Cincinnati Bengals will trot out a successful uniform combo for Sunday’s AFC North showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On the road, the Bengals will wear white jerseys with black pants and white socks, plus the traditional orange stripes and helmet.

That’s a good thing, at least for those who buy into it — per Jay Morrison of Pro Football Network, the Bengals have a 6-3 mark in that exact combo and have won three in a row.

The Bengals will take any help they can get going into the showdown given the playoff implications at stake and the injury saga around star wideout Ja’Marr Chase.

Bengals reveal jersey combo for Week 15 showdown with Vikings

The Bengals will have a rare jersey combo on for Saturday’s game against the Vikings.

The Cincinnati Bengals will trot out one of their rarer jersey combos for the Week 15 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Saturday at home, the Bengals will wear a blackout uniform combo, going with black jerseys, pants and socks, the only exception being the traditional orange stripes.

Odd as it might sound, the Bengals don’t go with this combo often and are 0-1 when they decide to bring it out for a game.

The Bengals will look to improve on that record while moving their overall record on the season to 8-6, which would provide a significant boost to the team’s playoff scenarios.

Bengals unveil must-see helmet, jersey combo for MNF vs. Jaguars

It’s time for the Bengals to roll out the best jersey combo in the NFL.

The “White Tiger” week has arrived for the Cincinnati Bengals.

As the Bengals illustrated on social media this week, the team will roll out the alternate white helmets with an all-white jersey look for the primetime showdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night.

The jersey combo schedule was planned before the season and league rules dictate how many times teams can use alternate helmets and jersey combos. This epic jersey matchup was meant to highlight the Joe Burrow vs. Trevor Lawrence showdown.

That’s not happening now — but the Bengals will still have arguably the best-looking uniform fit of any team in the NFL when they play in a critical game that will decide much about the AFC playoff standings and the 2024 NFL draft order.

Bengals reveal slick-looking jersey combo for Week 12 vs. Steelers

The Bengals will bring out a great jersey combo against the Steelers.

The first jersey combo of the Jake Browning era with Joe Burrow out due to injury will be an interesting one for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12, the Bengals will don the orange jerseys with black pants, orange socks and the traditional orange-striped helmet.

According to Pro Football Network’s Jay Morrison, the Bengals are 28-8 in orange jerseys since their debut in 2004 and in this specific combo for Sunday, 10-1.

It’s a good time for the Bengals to roll out a little jersey luck if possible in such a big AFC North showdown. At 5-5 and last in the division, their playoff hopes continue to fade.

If nothing else, the Bengals will again have one of the better-looking uniform combos in the NFL over the weekend.

Bengals unveil jersey combo for primetime showdown vs. Ravens

Here’s what the Bengals will wear for primetime vs. Ravens.

The Cincinnati Bengals will trot out a traditional look on primetime for “Thursday Night Football” against the Baltimore Ravens.

As already revealed in their season-long jersey schedule, the Bengals will don white jerseys and pants to go with black stripes and socks in Baltimore — topped off with the iconic orange helmet.

It’s a good look to show off during a primetime AFC North matchup, especially considering league rules limit the number of times they are permitted to wear the “White Bengal” alternate helmets.

The Bengals could be down some key players such as Trey Hendrickson and Tee Higgins on the road against the Ravens, where they’ll hope to avoid a season sweep.
