Report: Randy Bullock’s injury ‘nothing serious’ but he appears on Bengals injury report

The Cincinnati Bengals issued their first injury report of Week 2.

Cincinnati Bengals kicker Randy Bullock appeared to suffer an injury on his field goal attempt late in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Bullock met with media after the game and cited cramping as the reason he missed the kick that would’ve sent the game to overtime. And according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Bullock’s injury is “nothing serious.”

But Bullock did pop up on the team’s Monday injury report as limited with “calves” as the issue (he told the media he cramped in the opposite calf replays show him grabbing after the attempt).

Elsewhere, Geno Atkins, Mike Daniels, Xavier Su’a-Filo and Shawn Williams didn’t practice Monday ahead of the team’s Thursday night game against the Cleveland Browns.

Chargers vs. Bengals final injury report has Geno Atkins out Week 1

Here’s the final injury report for the Week 1 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Chargers.

Geno Atkins is the big name for the Cincinnati Bengals on the injury report before the team’s Week 1 showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers.

While A.J. Green, Mike Daniels and others got back to work Thursday after missing Wednesday, Atkins missed Thursday and did limited work on the rehab field before the team ruled him out.

These are the Bengals out for the game against the Chargers:

  • Geno Atkins
  • Shawn Williams

LeShaun Sims at cornerback was also ruled doubtful.

The Chargers are expected to be without center Mike Pouncey, though we’ll update when their injury report goes official.

As for Joe Burrow’s supporting cast of weapons, A.J. Green figures to be on a pitch count as the coaches play it safe after he aggravated a hamstring in training camp. That said, he recently got in some extra work with Burrow on the team’s off day and says he’s 100 percent.

Joe Mixon cleared on final injury report for Bengals vs. Dolphins

Here’s the final Bengals vs. Dolphins injury report.

Joe Mixon’s stay on the injury report was brief.

The injury report issued by the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins lists just two players as out. Every other name on the list, including Mixon, went full in practice to end the week.

Those names slotted as out are A.J. Green and right guard John Miller. Green sounds like he’s on his way to injured reserve next week after ruling himself out, which would enable the team to stash another player for the offseason.

Miller suffered a concussion last week and hasn’t made it back, so 2018 first-round pick Billy Price will get a nod at right guard for the first time.

As for the Dolphins, they list five players as questionable but aren’t expected to miss anyone notable for the showdown between teams with a combined four wins this year.

Joe Mixon surfaces on Bengals injury report

In an unexpected turn of events, Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon popped up on the injury report Thursday.

Mixon, impressively on his way to a 1,000-yard season after a dreadfully slow start for the entire offense, didn’t have a known issue heading into the week of practices.

Generally speaking, the Bengals don’t give veterans rest days outside of Wednesday, where Mixon had previously been listed as a full participant. For now, the listed ailment is a calf.

A week ago, Mixon rattled off 136 rushing yards on a 5.4 average in the loss to New England. He’s 75 yards removed from a 1,000-yard season a year removed from leading the AFC in rushing.

A.J. Green, John Miller and Darius Phillips didn’t practice at all Thursday on the injury report. The middle name on the injury report would explain why it seems Billy Price is on his way to starting at right guard against Miami.

Julian Edelman, Darqueze Dennard among those questionable for Patriots vs. Bengals

Patriots vs. Bengals features some notable names on the injury report. cin

Some big names might end up missing the Week 15 encounter between the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals.

Those hosting Bengals won’t have star A.J. Green on the field. At this point, the bigger news comes in the form of starting corner Darqueze Dennard getting a questionable tag after missing Friday’s practice with an illness.

Despite the big names there, the Patriots seem to be in even rougher shape heading into the game.

Patriots star wideout Julian Edelman is questionable, as are six others. Notables there include defensive back Jason McCourty and former Bengals wideout Mohamed Sanu.

From a Bengals perspective, they’d probably like to see a little more out of Dennard before he heads to free agency again.

One could argue the stakes are much higher for a Patriots team that has lost two in a row and is right in the thick of things near the top of the AFC.

Sam Hubbard ends up out alongside three others on final injury report

Here’s the final injury report for Bengals vs. Browns.

It turns out the Cincinnati Bengals won’t have defensive end Sam Hubbard on the field at all this weekend against the Cleveland Browns.

Earlier in the week, Hubbard missed with a knee issue but head coach Zac Taylor had remained positive about the outlook. That extended into Friday — until the final injury report went live.

There, Hubbard’s name comes up among those out. He joins A.J. Green and rookie tight end Drew Sample with that classification. Returner Brandon Wilson had the same classification before going to injured reserve later in the day to make room for the new rookie offensive tackle claimed off waivers.

As for the Browns, four players are listed as questionable, including defensive end Olivier Vernon and center JC Tretter.

JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Conner headline final injury report

The Bengals won’t have to face some key Steelers names.

[jwplayer uqPHPsPf-ThvAeFxT]

The Pittsburgh Steelers won’t have two of Mason Rudolph’s top weapons in Week 12.

That’s a boon for the winless, hosting Cincinnati Bengals. The home side still won’t have A.J. Green on the field — though coaches aren’t willing to say Green is out for the year yet.

Also out for the Bengals is second-round pick Drew Sample, though that hurts more in the long-term outlook then it does in actually giving the Bengals a chance to win the game.

More importantly, the Steelers won’t have starting back James Conner on the field. He’s rushed or 390 yards and four scores this year. JuJu Smith-Schuster will also miss the game. He leads the Steelers with 524 yards and three scores so far.

Here’s a look at the final injury report for both teams:

Bengals-Raiders injury report tabs A.J. Green, Drew Sample and Lamarcus Joyner out

Here’s the final injury report for Bengals-Raiders.

The Cincinnati Bengals don’t get any notable returns from the injury report in Week 11.

With A.J. Green still rehabbing after a setback coming out of the bye, the star wideout joins two other players listed as out.

One, rookie tight end Drew Sample, might end up on injured reserve. The other, Alex Redmond, is a backup offensive lineman. Speaking of injured reserve, the Bengals sent starting cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick there this week, essentially shutting him down so he could focus on recovery.

Geno Atkins is listed as questionable but should be good to go after some maintenance days. Ditto for right tackle Bobby Hart.

As for the Raiders, tackle Trent Brown and returner Dwayne Harris are listed as 50-50 to play. Defensive back Lamarcus Joyner and tackle David Sharpe are out.

Geno Atkins surfaces on new injury report with knee issue

Geno Atkins joins A.J. Green and others on the injury report.

The injury bug isn’t loosening its grip on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Thursday, defensive tackle Geno Atkins joined the injury report with a knee injury. Alongside Tyler Eifert, it isn’t uncommon to see a veteran like Atkins get a rest day during the middle of the week.

But Thursday, Atkins was labeled as a knee injury in the “did not practice” column alongside A.J. Green, Dre Kirkpatrick, Alex Redmond and Drew Sample.

Sample’s injury is a new one that could spur a trip to injured reserve. As for Green, he’s back to the rehab process and won’t play this week.

Then there is Atkins, whose status for the game in Oakland is now a question mark, to top it all off. Thursday is usually the telling day as far as forecasting the weekend goes, but Friday’s practice this week still has plenty of room for changes.
