[autotag]Cris Cyborg[/autotag] has a date and opponent for her third title defense.
The Bellator women’s featherweight champion is set to take on Ireland’s [autotag]Sinead Kavanagh[/autotag] Nov. 12 at Bellator 271 from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. The news was announced by Bellator president Scott Coker on “The MMA Hour.”

Cyborg (24-2 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) is coming off a fifth-round TKO win over veteran Leslie Smith in May at Bellator 259. The championship bout at Bellator 271 will be Cyborg’s fourth fight in the promotion. She was previously in the UFC where she held the women’s 145-pound title. Cyborg is a former Invicta FC, Strikeforce and UFC champion and is considered one of the greatest female fighters of all time.
Meanwhile, Kavanagh (7-4 MMA, 4-4 BMMA) is on a two-fight winning streak having bested Olga Rubin and Katharina Lehner. Kavanagh trains out of Conor McGregor’s gym, SBG Ireland.
