Fighters dream of nights like the one [autotag]Peter Queally[/autotag] experienced at Bellator 227.
The SBG Ireland competitor out of Dublin had the opportunity to fight at 3Arena. His hometown fans turned out in full force and were loud from the jump.
But his opponent, Ryan Scope, wasn’t just there to to play the role of jobber. Scope gave Queally everything he could handle and at one point seemed on the verge of winning the fight.
“The Showstopper” was not to be deterred, however. He dug down deep, rallied, and earned himself a TKO stoppage victory at 3:07 of the second round.
We’re nearly a year removed from that magical moment, and one thing is clear: The evening is still as special to Queally now as it was when it happened.
Now, thanks to Bellator’s “My Biggest Moment” series, you can catch Queally’s thoughts as he relives a thrilling night in Dublin. Watch the video above.
