Bedlam Hoops on the docket for 2024-2025 season

Bedlam Basketball is on for the upcoming season.

Oklahoma’s migration to the SEC took Bedlam off the table in football with nonconference schedules locked in for the foreseeable future. But other sports have figured out a way to keep the in-state rivalry on the table.

On Thursday, college basketball insider Jon Rothstein reported that an agreement has been finalized for Bedlam men’s basketball to take place on December 14 in Oklahoma City.

It’s a neutral site environment for a game that’s had big moments in recent years, including Javian McCollum’s buzzer-beater last season.

The Sooners also have notable nonconference matchups against Providence, Michigan, and Georgia Tech as they continue to fill out their schedule for year one in the SEC.

It’s an important season for the Sooners, reloading again via the transfer portal in hopes of making the NCAA tournament for the first time in Porter Moser’s tenure at Oklahoma.
