B.J. McLeod Motorsports’ 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season in review

B.J. McLeod Motorsports had a solid year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Here, you can check out the NASCAR team’s 2023 season in review!

[autotag]B.J. McLeod Motorsports[/autotag] downsized its NASCAR Xfinity Series program going into the 2023 season, and it appeared to work out pretty well. Anthony Alfredo, the driver of the No. 78 car, ran the entire schedule and had two top-10 finishes and a 24.1 average finishing position. Alfredo finished 20th in the point standings as the team’s only full-time driver.

The driver of the No. 78 car had a best finish of eighth place at Daytona International Speedway and Martinsville Speedway, while Garrett Smithley was the only driver to make at least one start for the team. This was the first time in the organization’s history that a full-time driver had earned more than one top-10 finish.

In 2024, Alfredo won’t return to B.J. McLeod Motorsports, and there are uncertainties surrounding the race team. Live Fast Motorsports, which has B.J. McLeod as a co-owner, sold its charter to Spire Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series and the future there is unknown. B.J. McLeod Motorsports could reach another level or not return in 2024.
