The Sooners are ranked 13th in the US LBM Coaches Poll update with a similar 3-0 record to open the season thanks to wins over the Temple Owls, Houston Cougars and Tulane Green Wave, respectively. However, the Cougars gave Oklahoma a run for its money last week, falling by a 16-12 final score.
