BetMGM has Auburn as heavy underdogs to Tennessee

Auburn will likely be without Sharife Cooper on Saturday as the Tigers host Tennessee.

Auburn will be without star point guard Sharife Cooper once again on Saturday and that means the Tigers will need to pull off an upset when they host Tennessee.

Over at BetMGM, the oddsmakers have Bruce Pearl’s team as 7.5-point underdogs to the Volunteers.

Cooper suffered an ankle injury on Sunday in practice and was in a walking boot during the Tigers’ loss to Florida on Tuesday night.

“He didn’t practice yesterday,” Pearl said on Friday. “He was there all day, he shot around a little bit. He is in the training room as many hours as Clark Pearson will allow him to be in the training room. You know, he had a pretty good ankle sprain, and they typically take a week or three or four. He turned it pretty good. But, he’s actually bounced back and we’ll see.”

BetMGM has Auburn as heavy favorites over Tennessee

Auburn will play for the first time in three weeks as the Tigers host Tennessee on Saturday evening in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Auburn will return to the playing field this weekend as the Tigers host Tennessee in Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday evening.

The good people at BetMGM currently have Gus Malzahn’s team pulling away from the Vols with the Tigers being 10.5-point favorites. The over/under comes in at 49.5.

No need to remind everyone what happened the last time Tennessee came to Jordan-Hare as underdogs because that was just two seasons ago. Three turnovers by Jarrett Stidham were costly as the Volunteers pulled off a stunning 30-24 victory.
