Auburn football: BetMGM has Tigers as favorites against South Carolina

Auburn will try to improve to 3-1 on the season as the Tigers take on South Carolina in Columbia.

Auburn has owned the series against South Carolina since the Gamecocks joined the SEC in 1992, winning all eight matchups including the 2010 SEC Championship Game that sent the Tigers onto the BCS National Title game against Oregon.

The experts over at BetMGM Sportsbook expect that trend to continue as they have the Tigers currently favored by 3.5 points over the Gamecocks.

South Carolina picked up its first win of the season last Saturday with a 41-7 rout over a decimated Vanderbilt team. Auburn pulled out a 30-28 controversial victory over Arkansas as Anders Carlson hit a 39-yard field goal with seven seconds left.

Here are the early lines for other SEC games:

Early line has Auburn as small favorite against South Carolina

Auburn starts the week as small favorites against South Carolina.

I think Vegas is starting to catch up on this Auburn team.

After a two-point victory for the Tigers in which they were 14-point favorites  against the Razorbacks, early lines from Sin City have Gus Malzahn’s team as just three-point favorites as they travel to Columbia, SC to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Will Muschamp’s team got its first victory of the season on Saturday in a 41-7 win at Vanderbilt. Gamecocks running back Kevin Harris was the star for the game, rushing for 171 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.
