Vegas releases lines for six Auburn football games in 2021

The oddsmakers in Vegas have released early lines for six of Auburn’s most crucial games during the 2021 season.

The people in Vegas are not high on what Bryan Harsin and the Auburn Tigers can accomplish in 2021.

Oddsmakers have released lines on six crucial Tiger games for the upcoming season including the trip to Penn State, the rivalry game against Georgia and the Iron Bowl.

Let’s take a look at each one.

BetMGM has Auburn as underdogs to LSU for Saturday’s matchup

BetMGM has Auburn has slight underdogs to LSU as the Tigers travel to Baton Rouge to take on Will Wade’s team.

Auburn takes the court for the first time in a week on Saturday as the Tigers travel to Baton Rouge to take on LSU.

The Tigers were set to play Mississippi State on Tuesday but the winter weather in the Southeast postponed that game until Thursday. The matchup was then postponed again to a date to be announced.

The rust might affect Bruce Pearl’s squad and the people at BetMGM have Auburn as 4.5-point underdogs to the Bayou Bengals.

“If we had known we had a bye week, we would have approached it a little differently,” Pearl said. “We would not have practiced on Sunday and then taken Monday off. That was really weird. We spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday preparing for Mississippi State, and then come to find out we’re playing LSU. Then we’ve got to get the staff together and quickly drill down on LSU, which are really different teams. We got a chance to work on us a little bit this week, which was good.”

Early line has Auburn as slight favorites over LSU

Auburn is coming into Saturday’s game with a three-game losing streak to LSU.

It’s that time of the year when Auburn and LSU meet up so buckle up because you never know what is going to happen in this rivalry game.

The good people in Vegas have released early lines for this week’s slate of games and have the Tigers as two-point favorites over the visiting Bayou Bengals.

Auburn has lost three straight to LSU since the bizarre ending of the 2016 game when it appeared Les Miles’ team had scored the game-winning touchdown as time ran out but, on review, the clock had hit 0:00 before the snap. Miles was fired the following week, leading the way for Ed Orgeron to take over.

Here are some other early lines for SEC games this week:

Ole Miss (-18) at Vanderbilt

Mississippi State at Alabama (-33)

Arkansas at Texas A&M (-15)

Missouri at Florida (-15)

Georgia (-13) at Kentucky
