Auburn falls from rankings in latest AP Poll

Auburn fell out of the AP Poll after being completely dominated by Alabama in a 48-13 loss on Saturday.

Auburn will enter December unranked.

After the Tigers dropped out of the Amway Coaches Poll, Gus Malzahn’s team also fell from No. 22 to other receiving votes in the latest AP Poll released on Sunday.

The Tigers were routed by No. 1 Alabama in the Iron Bowl on Saturday, 48-13, as they fell to 5-3 on the season. Auburn will face No. 5 Texas A&M on Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Auburn moves up in latest AP Poll

Auburn moved up a spot in the latest AP Poll. The Tigers return to the field on Saturday when they host Tennessee.

Auburn hasn’t taken the field for two weeks now but it hasn’t hurt its standing in the AP Poll.

In fact, the Tigers moved up one spot in the latest poll from No. 24 to No. 23.

The Tigers were set to play Mississippi State on Saturday but the game was postponed this past Monday due to a rise in COVID-19 cases within both programs. The game has been rescheduled for Dec. 12. Auburn returns to the field on Saturday when they host Tennessee in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
